Hi everybody,

I recently joined Eater after reading a lot of safaris/baits in the last few month. Now I feel it´s time to join the sport and to try some baits of my own. As a rookie I am now studying at your university and started to try to catch a lad. Got a first response from one and I am now starting to improve my skills.

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi and express my admiration for a lot of you guys. Some of your safari threads kept me busy for weeks. I hope to send a lad on safari someday by myself.

I am glad you found us. Make sure you are baiting safe. No real life details. Also grab a Mentor. They are with out a doubt the best resource a new baiter can have. Welcome again and Hope you stick around. Can't wait to hear some of your scambaiting stories. If you have any question ask away.

Welcome to Eater-and I'm glad you're checking out the University. Lots of valuable info thee, especially about baiting safely as Bware and TLH have mentioned. Use an email account that has none of your RL info-Your character should have a completely different name, location etc, etc.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome. And of course for your concerns about security. Rest assured that I am taking this very serious. As I read through your university I immediately started using my newly gained knowledge and set up some email accounts, a proper notebook and I created my baiting character.

I was also able to get four lads to send me their scripted replies after I started fishing for some lads to bait. For know I will try straight baiting, nothing fancy. So far I received some fake drivers licenses and passports along with the usual proposals and questions for details about myself (address, phone no. and so on).

As for the mentor, I tried to sign up for the mentor program, but the software told me no mentor is available right now. So I figured I will just try some straight baiting and try to gain some experience before applying again.

Do you think my first mail exchange with my lads is worth posting here? As of now its only basic stuff. Hi Scammer - Hi Baiter - Nice to know you - Nice to know you too, i have huge amounts of money, please help me with it and lets share it and so on and so forth. As I said, basic starter stuff but I would be happy to get some feedback on what I have done so far.

One last thing: Since I am from Germany please forgive my english skills, I might have become a little rusty over the years. I hope to improve soon.

You should be able to get a mentor now. I think it only works until after you make a couple posts. Re, english, do not worry. Your english is fine and there are many baiters here who are not native english speakers, including several folks from Germany. Very Happy

Your English is good. A German speaker's errors in English are nothing compared with a Yoruba/Igbo/Bantu speaker's errors in English.

You can also bait in German. I've baited in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. French and Spanish are my heritage languages (I'm technically a native speaker of French, but my French and Spanish vocabulary isn't as extensive as that of someone who grew up in those countries) and I can easily pick up any Italo-Western language. I spent four weeks pulling doors marked "push". It's actually spelled "puxe".

@Capone: A few weeks back I read your safaris with Juan (the US lad from Atlanta). I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the work you both have done. I learned a lot from that already. Thank you.

welcome to the fun house gonozal, wishing you many successful baits for the future, even if your not able to get a lot out of them, the couple of weeks they waste on you is still a success, if a lad goes cold on you and dumps you, dont worry there are thousands more out there, its fun to try different styles of characters, the timid gullible old granny, to the asshole business man who doesnt take any shit.

note books are a good idea too, when you have a few lads going with a few different characters at the same time, its easy to slip up and "forget who you are"
