Think this is a baiter? Badger?

I received a pretty typical diplomatic format and responded with a fairly traditional ASEM. The response I received was as follows:

The response seems a little too perfect. We've got guy man, format, all caps, mugu...I don't know, it just screams baiter to me. Only thing is, I was responding to what by all accounts was an actual scam format in my long running catcher account. Is someone out there playing tricks on baiters?

For the record, I know I can always respond with CDXIX or whatever but I don't want to miss the opportunity to start another fakelad if it's legit.

Nothing about that raises an alarm to me. Not to mention badgers are mostly urban legend. In 11 years here I am aware of only one true badger, who was an idiot. I would play this out and see what happens.

If it is a badger (highly unlikely) you would have only second confirmed sighting since Eater began. The odds are incredibly small.

^^^^ I know of an oga in brasil as well as one in Venezula (might be your guy). They are frequently looking for diplomatic (or as the lads call it "dip") work.

One angle would be to get a few accounts off him. You can always a indicate you have "good clients for hand" (meaning active victims) but need an "aza for offshore" ("aza" means bank account in lad speak) and ask him what his sharing percentage is.

Venezuela does have a Nigerian community (not that all lads are Nigerian), and if he is truly in Caracas, which is where the only Nigerians I met are based out of, agronomists, maybe you can get a safari to Maracaibo, or out of the country to Panama City or to Trinidad.

He does sound like a truly despicable POS. But they all sound like truly despicable POS's.

But of course the croc killer wasn't a real badger, just a joke gone awry which made the whole situation even funnier.
