I kid you not ... loan lad with the exact same name as my first husband - I KNEW there was a reason I divorced him!

Actually when we were married he was Frodo Dufus but I had him change our name because I couldn't stand being a Dufus. Luckily he changed his name to Baggins and landed a huge role in not only a book but a hit movie and we made millions. I got the better half of the deal in our divorce 
Sadly though, he's going for the jugular for my loan though .. right away he's asking for just over $5,000 for "calateral". Gonna be some bacon in my future ... |

I'm not sure how likely that is, but: lads tend to adopt names after they got some sort of ID-cards and so with that name, or because the name sounds interesting. depending on how frequent your ex-husbands name was, there might be a chance that this lad took the name after scamming your ex-husband (although this chance is quite slim). did he send you an ID-card yet? |

He hasn't sent an ID, but the name is a pretty common one with different spellings. I might ask my ex in passing, but he's not a frequent internet kind of guy, so luckily the chances are pretty slim. |
