I'm baiting a recovery scammer. He's not the brightest bulb, but he's quite happy off script, and best of all, he's given me a license to make mistakes.

Initial script:

Here comes mistake #1: I've already fallen for another recovery scam.

Even though I complied with his request for information, he got hung up on the other recovery scam like I hoped he would, and was nice enough to warn me about it. Still overusing my name:

I copied a scam script from ScamWarners (Thanks Tim Atem!), and pasted it in as a forwarded mail, using another of my addresses for the contact address in case he decides to write to the other scammer.

He warns me, thoroughly, about the scammer. His reason for the other email being a scam? They're going to pay me by ATM Mastercard!, just like he is.

Also, he's supposedly in Washington working for homeland security but accidentally tells me he's in Nigeria.

I've been baiting two lads at once, both of whom have an Ibrahim Lamorde character. A few times I replied to one lad's Lamorde quoting what the other lad's Lamorde said, as if they were the same person. Here's his answer:

Yes! So fun when they get it all mixed up and backward.

It's also really easy to convince them you're a paying victim, since you've already fallen victim to a previous scam. And of course, you have no money for fees because you lost it to a scammer.
I found it pretty vile that he even stated that the other scammer was trying to take the "little I had left".

I sent an email from my EFCC account to my Geez Louise account, then forwarded it to him, adding a bit at the top:

When my sons were little I used phrases like Geez Louise and No Way Jose instead of using any expletives around them and they loved to repeat them...but boy, it's been quite a few years since I've heard them.

His first email account returns bounces, so obviously got shut down. It's clear proof that shutting down accounts does NOT help victims.

I think he's getting sick of me. I can nearly hear the exasperation in his writing about the other scammer.

In response to his last email, I told him that I had to keep writing to the EFCC scammer because he's dangerous and I didn't want him to be mad at me.

I wrote to my EFCC account from the Geez Account with: Are you a scammer and a hacker? I replied back to the Geez account with an email made out of copy and pastes of Randy's own writing and then forwarded it to him to show him what the EFCC scammer had written.

Sorry about the voicemail on my phone - I have really bad service and don't have a signal sometimes, even when I'm at home I have to go stand outside sometimes. The company told me it's because my phone is so old that it doesn't read all of the newer networks. I wish I could get a new phone, but I can't right now.
If you leave me a message when you call, I can check it when I have a signal and then email you back. Can you give me your number again? Maybe I can try to call you.

Of course I am sure that I don't have a husband and kid. That's something that people are pretty sure of. I don't have them because I didn't get married or pregnant.

I don't have the money, can he pay it for me? No, he can't.

He starts getting pushier as my next payday comes closer. Next few mails have things like this:

He sent a couple more emails once it was Friday (payday!), asking nicely about payment details. He also left a voicemail.

I blamed my inability to pay on Western Union, and still want an apology for some undetermined slight. I love making them apologize for absolutely nothing.
