Please explain. I don't know what a 'product lad' is yet !

There are three kinds of product lads: CC lads, big-volume lads, and phishermen. CC lads are often product lads, but some of them target caterers or pet shippers. A product lad pretends to order things from a product list. A CC lad has stolen credit card numbers and tries to turn them into cash.

And phisherman are just after your personal data to use in ID Fraud or to sell on.

ETA: Laddy has emailed me. Looks like a large-volume product scam, which I have never worked. I know little about them, other than the fact that they
can be quite elaborate. Maybe VX or any other veteran experienced with this type of lad will weigh in for us, please:

I haven't run into either of these. As far as I understand, he's asking if you have already sold in Africa, and if so, where. If you haven't, say you haven't. As to the stock question, not all companies are publicly traded stock companies.

I baited someone who wanted some of my optical devices for rural development in Ghana. He required that I pay a registration fee or something, which failed in the usual manner.

I did wonder on how Africa would be mentioned because in his initial email he mentions everywhere else in the world. Africa was the elephant in the email !!!!

Haven't had one like him before... although strip him down and it's an Advance Fee Scam I am sure ! I don't have time this week to do anything with him so I look forward to read just how clever he thinks he is !
