Just out of curiousity, has dealing with scammers for so long had an effect on the way you speak? Expressions you use, slang terms etc.
For my part the answer I must confess is yes! My family no longer bat an eye to hear me exclaim "Am Serious Pissed!" or refer to people as mugus. I also find myself referring to money as "funds," all the time. "Hey honey, Can you see if I have any cash funds in my pants pocket on the floor.?" Things like that. Worse, my young kids actually say "am so dissapoint," although they know they are being silly to do so.
Just wondering if I'm alone in that.
Also a bit of good news; after my kids busted my laptop a few months ago I e been essentially away from baiting. A few days back my wife purchased me a new one as a surprise gift, so looks like my language is about to get worse! |

LOL can't say I've gotten that bad yet, but I'll slip up and refer to bad-guys as lads so no my kids think that all bad guys are lads. Haven't yet started shortening my words or sentences though ... one question though ...
If I DO start speaking lad-speak is there a clinic for that? |

I recently told a non-baiter friend that "am interested" in going out to eat. Now that I think about it, I've been thinking a lot in ladspeak lately. |

A long-term lad of mine met every problem with the comment that he was 'suffering here.'
And now so do I.
Is the weather not to my liking? Has nobody brought me coffee quick enough? 'I'm suffering here!'
And I absolutely expect my husband 'to serve me better.' Just like the lad officials do. |

I don't want to guess the number - But, lad, isn't that the best fun to be had with MoneyGram reference numbers? |

^Not only that, but nowadays we don't use the word "very" that much. So very small things are "small small" and fast is "quick quick". Expensive goods like a house or shiny car is now called a "dope car" or "dope house". |
