It's that time of year again!
The Easter Bunny has once again visited 419Eater, and hidden Easter egg icons in the signatures of more than 70 members!
We're holding a contest for members to find them. The contest winner will receive a one year premium membership, courtesy of the admin/mod team (transferable if already premium).
Contest rules are as follows:
- The winner will be the member who has found the highest number of members sporting the new egg icons by the close of the contest on Sunday, April 5th, 9:00 pm EDT (Eastern US time). Note that there are more than 70 eggs, but we're not telling exactly how many more!
In the event of a tie or more than one member finding all of the icons, the member who submitted the information first will be determined the winner.
- Easter egg images are only hidden in the signature lines of members who have posted on the forum since March 1, 2015.
- NOTE: Some members have eggs from previous years. Those do not count toward this contest.
These are previous years' icons:     , which do not count.
This year's egg is 
- Submissions should be in the form of an email containing a list of the usernames of the members whose sig lines contain the eggs. (Please alphabetize and number the list.)
- Please send all submissions to [email protected] by April 5, 2015, 9:00 EDT. Be sure to include your Eater member name in the subject line!
- The Winner will be announced once all entries have been checked, likely by Monday, April 6th.
Note: If you find an egg in your own signature, please do not advertise or remove it. Also, please do NOT post submissions or post to point out which members have eggs.

Since you're still under 70, posting the number you have found isn't a problem. However, please do not post any numbers above 70, as it will clue in other members as to how many total eggs there might be. |

Definitely  I've not got anything else on tonight so its filling a gap, make it 60 now as well, if I get over 70 I won't post anymore numbers, don't want a **BANNED** tag
EDIT- The **BANNED** refers to the **WARNING** tag I had for a week, as banned is the next stage up from warned, its not a snide remark, as I'd only be being snide to myself.

^The contest is not a race to 70. Ima said there are more than 70.
Who finishes first will only count if a member finds ALL of the eggs that have been hidden....and Ima is pretty crafty. |

This was posted 3am my time. I have until 6:30 am tomorrow to find as many as I can as I am going away. I have gotten more than 50 now. Fingers crossed I can do some real damage when I get home from work... unlikely as I have to pack and run errands haha |

Am I missing something obvious here? Is it not possible for a proud recipient to delete his or her egg, either by accident or design, thereby throwing the whole thing off-kilter? |

If someone deletes their egg, the contest will still work. In that case, since no one would find all of the eggs, the winner would then be the person who has found the most by contest end. If there is a tie for the most, the first person who submitted it wins.
There's still a winner if no one finds them all.
That said, if you delete your egg, you're evil, and the Easter bunny will probably poop in your Easter basket. |
