This lad started off as a typical orphanage scammer. His site was shut down and he gave up 125 accounts. Then he pretended to be the FBI and "my" African boyfriend. I had the accounts and quit replying. A few weeks ago, he came back, knowing about the orphanage, the site, my boyfriend, the FBI, harkers, etc. This time, however, he set out to "Romance Scam Me." All the time, he was gathering accounts so we could get this large sum of money my bf had sent to my account. Money from "investors" in an African Oil company. The premise was that I was to forward the money to my bf's "partners." But, this lad thought, why shouldn't we take the money. So we set out to do this and meet in Brazil to start our wonderful life together. Rolling Eyes

To give you an update on the bait, I was to drive five hours to the bank on Thursday and make the transfer to these accounts. Unfortunately for our lad and "Mr. Cole," they kept sending accounts, and of course, these had to be hand-written out on transfer slips to present to the teller. That took time and I didn't make it to the bank in time. So, I had to spend the night. And the hotel had no internet. Here is how it proceeded. The morning of the transfer:

I reached out to the lad today. He was insistent to have the scans of the bank transfers, so, I thought, "Why not give them to him?" I dummied up 25 .dll files of about 4.5 MB and renamed them as pdfs. Then, I sent 5 emails with five each attached. He wasn't a fan and said they had been attached wrong. We had pdf problems in the past. So, he wanted them in jpg form. Twenty five files had .pdf changed to .jpg and five more large emails were sent.

I won't bore you with the details and idiotic exchanges, but finally, he decided on this:

So, I told him I combined them all and uploaded two 125 MB .dll files to the site. One was renamed as a pdf and one jpg.

Why don't we burn baits? Sometimes a lad gives up 125 accounts and then returns with 241 more. Sometimes, they even send this a week or two later:
