I can keep a lad for a couple of months , go through the routine and eventually get a piggy after using the SPTS mod , the last one i only got 15 minutes of his time on there he just viewed the pages but never answered any questions Sad

I am in the process of pressing him to fill in the forms for his MTCN number but it seems i have yet another LAZY GIT !

They give an account eventually (i'm sure he will ) but i then struggle to keep them into a third month .

I,m not one for giving up but my lack of skills is frustrating me (still enjoying every minute of it Cool

) but the excitement of my first piggy has long gone i want better results ....ie more lad pain !

As they say practice makes perfect so i need to up my game and start talking to these guys on the phone (at there cost and safely Cool

)

The phone portion is completely up to you, but I have never phoned one. Typically, I can bait a lad longer, because I hit them from multiple accounts. The account that is the opposite sex of their claimed sex is the one that I will take and begin a romance once the bait slows down or stales. The important thing is keeping them hooked and believing the money is just around the bend.

Like bware said, the phone is completely optional. I've never phone baited, either, partly because I would need the right situation to do so and partly because I'm afraid I'd drop character and start laughing.

I think your main problem is that you're getting to the payment phase too early and, once you get there, there's nowhere else to go. (After all, how many payments can you pooch before your lad wises up?)

If you want to stretch a bait out, try introducing more problems *before* you get to the payment phase. Have a major family accident occur, have your computer crash, get into a fight with your SO and have them hark your email account, or get an email from a law enforcement officer (who may or may not be an actual law enforcement officer OOOOO) and be warned away from dealing with the lad.

As long as you show interest and a willingness to work with the lad, he won't drop you too quickly.

I have a few baits going that have been going for a little while.

From my experience you need to hook them and work on that. One of these lads almost dropped me and was calling me joker and all that and I just came back with a sob story of suffering from amnesia and saying I had been scammed by Nigerians who used my memory loss against me. I am now super lazy with the lad, but he won't drop me.

I also take a long time to get to payment phase. I need lots of clarification. I make them work, but I always dangle that I am so close to paying right in front of them.

I have also found multiple characters work great. You can open more accounts to play more characters or a nice baiter may start to play a role for you. My romance bait has Sweet Poison playing my mother.

I let a lot of mine die off by simply not responding when we get to the shouty phase after accounts have been had. By not killing it with abuse several come back after a month or two to complete the unfinished business and the cycle starts again.
As BW said above multiple characters can keep baits alive forever. I'm aiming for a sandtimer from the first bait I started in June. We went through the phases and after it all seemed to be grinding to a halt I killed the character off, introduced a care home manager and solicitor and the lad is looking at a substantial inheritance. Unfortunately, under Scottish law there's a crapload of paperwork to be completed and he doesn't know it yet but the 'official paperwork' has to be signed for in person, in Scotland .... Might not be the info your looking for exactly, but every month or so I will email old lads that have dropped me and send them a simple..

"Any updates?"

^^Sometimes they pick back up where they started, immediately off script, and sometimes they will go absolutely ballistic. Depends how much I used and abused them previously. It's almost like they can't NOT respond to me. If they really get pissed, I just insult them and tell them how stupid and unprofessional they are. Makes for some great sig lines...

Then a month or so later:

"Any updates?"

@the Rev, all good suggestions above. I only rarely bait by phone-I don't like talking to lads-unless it's for Juan.

One way to slow things down and to keep the lad on the hook is to ask questions about the lad after the first week or so. Be nosey. Wonder what training a diplomat or barrister or a banker needs. Ask about his family. This works better with consignment or inheritance baits when the lad thinks he's building trust. One email a day or even every other day. Let the lad get used to you.

I bait wacky so I keep myself amused even if I don't get any replies from Lads.

I had little success when I first started and only when I went wild did I get responses that I found interesting and amusing, and I still use my Russian model character.

Mr G0mer is currently running his fingerprint scanner scam modality past Lads to see if he gets any takers. I will get a low response rate, but any that go with it will give me a lot of fun. Very Happy
