Right, looking forwards to this one. A certain James Logogo of the Logogo church is going cast a spell for me to ease me out of my terrible depression. To perform this spell he requires:
(1) THE HEAD OF A VULTURE
(2) THE HEAD OF A COBRA SNAKE
(3) 20 PIECES OF COWRIES
(4) A MALE LIVE TORTOISE
(5) 2 LIVE SCORPIONS
(6) BLACK AND RED CANDLES
This will cost him $20,000, so I will need to pay these costs. I love this. Any ideas?

Send him a link to Aldi (or any other supermarket website) .

Waste a bit of his time and cash searching for starters and say they have a few items in there members only section .......he cant access them as he is not in there country .

Negotiate better terms on each item and claim you can help him out ....he is a true a gent after all we would not want him to over pay Very Happy

I like the sound of that. Even better, find somewhere on the internet that actually does sell these items and then (if they come to less than his $20,000 total) ask why he's charging more. I'm also going to ask for qualifications. (Ideally a postgraduate degree...)

From what I understand, it's basically falls under the premise that there is a possibility (regardless of how obviously tiny it may be) that one of these spellcaster guys might actually be "legit" in the sense that he seriously believes and intends to cast a spell for you. As such you would be baiting an "innocent" person, which is a big no-no.
I think they're trying to emphasize that it's better to not even chance it, thus making dropping the guy completely the best option.

In parts of West Africa there are 'witches' who perform 'spells' using, at times, body parts of animals/people and also 'witch hunters' who are violent to the extreme on those suspected of witchcraft. If this all sounds a little too urban legend, go to youtube and search for West Africa + Witchcraft.

So that's the main concern. You could jokingly tell someone... you need a dog's head? Ok sure, go get one! And they will.

Meanwhile, if you want some very fun lads who will perform tasks, I suggest gold lads. Plenty in the surplus letter area, and I am also happy to PM you a couple of warmed up lads who respond to letters.

it might not be advance fee fraud, but I seriously doubt that this person will buy a vulture head in lagos in order to perform a real ritual, believing that it will work.

I would suggest to ask him, if he could provide you with a video of a similar ritual. if he provides it, he shows you that he is genuine, and you can stop baiting him. and well, if not...

this way, there are three different cases possible.

1. he is a scammer and can't provide you with a video (maybe with some ludicruse excuse). then you can proceed poking him

2. he is a scammer, but he tried to fake a ritual, then he paid quite a nice sum of money. well... it's nice watching it, but stop baiting him. laddy wouldn't figure out what happened, but spent some money.

3. he is a genuine juju-master, and provided you with a video... then he is an ITP and unbaitable.

but I expect some more or less lame excuses that it is not possible....

It's all very murky indeed. Google images will show you exactly how murky if you've got the stomach for it.

There are those who believe that money rituals will make them rich, and there are those who will exploit such beliefs to entice their "clients" to commit acts of murder, rendering them open to extortion. Deeply held traditional beliefs have been distorted horribly and used to manipulate others.

Worst of all, regular, uninvolved folks in these communities live in fear of being captured off the street and mutilated or murdered to drive these "rituals". These are the ITPs we should be concerned about, and all we can do is stay well back, and do nothing to perpetuate the beliefs that drive the ritualists and their clients.

I'm locking this one as the subject has been done to death already, the OP got the message ages ago and the rules are perfectly clear. We don't need any more elaboration.
