When the "Encyclopedia of Scambaiting Legends" is published, TM should get his own volume!
I had no problems with the audio. For the person that did, are you using mono audio or just one speaker? On skype recordings- because of the way they are recorded - the caller's voice comes through one speaker, the receiver through the other. |

The lad's bois yelling at him in the background make the whole thing even funnier! |

Nothing better than a TM safari!
I think I mentioned this a while ago, but I wish the elite baiters would start a collection, or a book of some sorts (like TM and Dr Mike - I am relatively new and these are my favorites, but I know there are TONS of other incredible baiters).
Baits like this bring a huge smile to my face and realize why I love this site so much. |

I'm a bit late here, but congratulations TM on another Safari.
Cotonou is going to be getting one hell of a reputation soon, we need to bribe the locals to keep quiet. |

Dear Tasmanian
Thank you so very much for your technical advice regarding the audio problem! I purchased some headphones and for the first time I was able to also hear the lads in all of the Heathrow Airport calls properly (what a kerfuffle!). On this note and in my humble opinion, I must say that together with The Monsignor, you are the sharpest telephone scambaiter I have heard so far; both of you employ and relish in that ingeniously well-disguised sarcasm with presence of mind and that wonderful diction of yours!
Incidentally, I just listened to that 40-minute call you conducted with a Thailand-based, Nigerian lad pretending to be the director of a major Bangkok bank. Sheer brilliance and presence of mind, particularly by speaking to him in Thai, LOL! I lived in the Nana area (Soi 4) for a year and saw the lads there often on Sukhumvit. Towards the end of the aforementioned call there came a time when the already rumbled lad seemed to undergo a GENUINE phase of remorse for what he was doing, stating that this had been the first time he'd done such a thing; and with the image of them on Sukhumvit still fresh in my memory I BOUGHT IT ... until you matter-of-factly presented him with the fact that his mobile number showed up in countless other scams. Oh dear! It's tough for them out there culturally and linguistically, but you made it even tougher for this one. But I am sure he'll reconstitute somehow. Thanks for the entertainment!
