I wonder if the "do also receive my previous email" is a trick. For some reason this one wasn't shunted to spam by Gmail. All of the other are. I suspect that line may have skewed the filter (since obviously I hadn't gotten anything previously).

I told her yesterday that she could send her card by 8 today and I'd process it before I go out to visit a customer. She wrote back at 5 (i.e. 8 my time) asking if I'm on seat, whatever that means. I wrote back at 10, when I finished lunch, that I hoped she would have sent it already. I just got back and she hasn't answered.

CC scammers like you to process right away hence the Lad asked “if I’m on seat” or sitting down and ready to run the Card(s).

All I've had from her apart from the initial card is two "are you at your seat" emails sent in the middle of the night Europe time - you would think, being in Norway, that she would have some idea of when a UK shop is likely to be open Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately, while having difficulties getting the fees transferred to her shipper, one of Melanie's CC charges has been reversed.
Melanie has promised me she will get another one and make good her balance due.

This lad appears to be a bit tight on cards.....which hopefully means we're eating up all of his resources!!!

I'm not getting this...are these charges actually being run or are you guys faking the charge and letting the scammer know they were declined? We get several emails like this to our business all the time asking for outlandish quotes on items we don't even stock or list on our website.

^^^ No charges are made - we just give the scammer the occasional faint glimmer of hope that he's getting near his target. The cards are reported via the Mods to the card companies as compromised.

If you receive scam mails like this then please post them at Scamwarners https://scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=3454 so that other victims are made aware.
