We had combined team patrol yesterday with Afghan soldiers as we are trying to put things under control.We had road car bomb attack early in the morning and three of our soldiers were injured, we thank God they are now responding to treatment and will be discharged from the hospital very soon. It is very risk to be here but it is our obligation since we have signed to serve our Country for better and for worst.

I am yearning to be with you very soon but I have to exercise patient since my retirement is getting closer. Do not worry, I will be safe and come to you safely because I am not always on patrol. I am an Engineer in the military and I have my office here in Kabul. I only go on patrol when things became critical like this.

But we are used to it. We knew the principle and I will never die in war and in foreign land for that matter. War is not good my dear. But only if the foolish leaders will be wise especially in the Muslim communities. War have left many innocent civilians out of home here in Afghanistan especially in the Northern and Southern province.

It is not good to talk about,because it will cause you to shed tears.
However, the UN is trying their best and if by the grace of God, things will improve in short time. I wish I can make the days to go faster so that I will have my retirement.

I just want to rest and have my private life and be happy. To do things the way and the time I wanted to do it and not to depend on the authority any more. Did you know that now I am a Government property? And I have no power to do what I want and at the time I wish to do it? I think I have served my Country to my satisfaction and it the time to rest and have my life back. But I really need somebody like you so that things will be easy for me. as if......ha ha ha
