I hardly used it yet i guess they dont like it being used for scam baiting .

I've used Hushmail for three years and the only accounts I've lost are the ones I forgot to sign into for more than three weeks. They do seem to be somewhat fickle though. You might try contacting them and ask them why they blocked your account. You've nothing to lose in trying to regain it, right?

I use hushmail for a short term character, someone who is a bit player. If they are going to become a longer term character, I switch to Gmail. As OC says, after three weeks of lack of use, the account gets closed.

I will just re bait the lads if they dont re instate me but to be honest its put me off using hush mail will set up a g mail one as a spare

Hushmail seem to have changed their policy in recent years and have got very prickly about baiting. Gmail don't give a toss though. I usually leave a message in the Drafts folder such as

This is a scambaiting account used to harrass 419 scammers and deny them the use of compromised assets and instruments. Please don't close it or restrict its use. Thank you.

This seems to do the trick. I've had the same gmail accounts for years.

Likewise I have had several Gmail accounts for a few years now all with a similar draft, although I only use the same 2 or 3 for 99% of the time, and never had any problems.

I have had gmail nuked before even with a note in drafts, so I always make sure to have a back up account and save my messages offline. That way if an account does get nuked I don't have to start the bait all over again. I've never had any problem with Yahoo, however.

Some of mine have Drafts in them but most don't. Gmail has never questioned me.

Hushmail closed one of my accounts when I first started baiting. When I complained to them, they closed the other two also.

I switched to gmail and I've never had a problem. Even my ASEM accounts that I use for the phone chain have never had an issue. And my site killing persona has sent out thousands and thousands of emails without any issues.

Thanks guys, for the tip about the draft messages. Think I'll take that up.

Gmail seems to have more built-in features and a host of readily-available extensions, such as Drive (Docs, Sheets and Slides) a very handy online photo-editor, a well-designed notes storage system and much more, all a little basic, but just a single click away.

Great tip for the drafts. Thank You. I will most certainly do that.

I had two GMX closed down and even Yahoo blocked me. They said I had to provide a phone number for them to send a code to enter. After trying several times.... no code sent.

So I am left with Gmail and Hotmail. Shame because I like the way GMX presented the header details, made it so easy for SW entries.

But.... I am off now to put those drafts there ! Thank You

I just got so mad when you see some email addresses being used for years and still going and you send out a few baiting emails and you are thrown out !
