I want another free email address to use .
We / I have RL ones with hotmail / yahoo / gmail / so dont want another with any of these .
I,m currently using outlook.com to play with as a scam baiter email account .....but you cant set up others with outlook.com as there connected which seems rather silly

I have used a free Hushmail account since I registered here. Only drawback is the small storage capacity (25Mb). |

provided you have a dynamic IP mail.com is pretty okay. There is an unspoken limit of how many emails you can send at one time (it just pops up an error when you send too many too fast) but it's okay otherwise.
it does show your IP though, so be aware of that, and all the potential security risks that brings with it. |

Hmmmm
Ok
I have looked at the email header when i have just sent email to my RL email addy and if i view the header there is not my ip address in either hush mail or outlook.com .
Unless i am missing something the email header is the only place a ip address is displayed ?
There is one there in both accounts but its the email providers ip not mine
Can anyone confirm this please ? |

Most free email accounts strip your IP. Google even hosts on its own servers any images that you may attach to your sent mail. Yahoo is the exception and does disclose IP.
Unless you are using Yahoo, no need to use a Proxy. |

^^^^ If you use MS Outlook client and send an email from a gmail account, it does not strip out your IP. It has to do with the settings smtp settings in the Outook client.

What do you mean by that? I have a ton of Outlook.com accounts and they're not interconnected. How do you mean "connected"? They're only connected if you explicitly tell them to be. |

Hi
Please bare with me i am not great on a pc (age thing ) so i might be wrong .
I have 3 "alias" outlook accounts but they all connect to the same one i think i might have added other address,s to the original one and your original still shows up .
I will explain over the next few days hopefully its my error but it seems correct to me ...which means nothing ..lol..
Ok ...
My three added email accounts all start with my original address followed by the alias ?
The only way i have been able to over come this is by typing in the below which covers my first addy name and then my alias is worded after it if thar makes sense ?
Mail from outlook.com...(then the alias addy is here )
EDIT ....
My mistake i know where i went wrong
Very helpful thanks baiters |

Yeah, if you use aliasing, then yes, they are interconnected. I just have separate distinct email accounts that have no connection to one another. |

Hi there.
I've just set one up on mail.com. Again just watch header. Pretty simple to use and a clean look.
