A very reputable Mystery Shopping company I do contract work for has been cloned and is sending out fake MO and asking for Money Packs.

I know you guys can do more good than a DMCA letter that the real site will send them. Question

Can some real professional baiters please fill out the information to become a mystery shopper with them.

Hi scanman,

You're right, we can do more than a DMCA letter. This site is registered with PDR, which means we can get it suspended automatically as soon as it is entered into the Artist Against 419 Fake Sites database.

A word of caution to all professional baiters-

Websites may log the IPs of individuals that fill out forms online. Its not a problem if you are logging in from Starbucks or a fast food restaurant but I would suggest that you not fill out fill out a form from a static IP at your jobsite.

^^^Very true - it's a couple of lines of code to grab and store the IP that every browser provides when you visit a page and that is on top of the normal log files that any host will make available to website owners.

I get "Server Not Found" for the site. Have you cleared your cache and then tried the site?

I'd love to hear how they sent you an express pack with a fake MO as that is their MO and then ask for Moneygram return. Twisted Evil

Also I have noticed an email to the real site they are cloning/copying helps even more sometimes. The REAL mystery shopping industry really wants to squash these people giving it a bad name.

I have done Mystery Shopping in the past & still do.. they warn a lot that you should never pay for job information, or do they ever ask you to wire money - ever. There is a legit industry certification - this helps get better jobs or offered them first. But NEVER anytime do these jobs say "Cash check at X store and wire money from X"

Plus most people don't want to do the paperwork on the big-time jobs, its more than we ask the Lads to do Laughing

Site killing is a lot of fun and very fulfilling. Knowing you are causing so much pain and loss of revenue to a lad just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

As soon and my life is put together, I am going to start killing sites. I think that's my niche in baiting. The site killers here on Eater are some of the best people around. Very helpful and very patient and kind. Razz
