Nice work, Heisenberg!! If this happens in the future, you may want to send it to a mentor or a mod-SW, our sister site, communicates with prospective victims on a regular basis.

Good job! As Capone said, you can pass the info to a mod.

I helped someone avoid a scam recently, but in a different way. He/she searched for the text of an email a lad had sent, offering to buy an item. Up popped a thread on SW where I had posted a message the same lad, using a different name, had sent me a year earlier, offering to buy my tree/laptop.

Thanks all. I have already submitted a bank account provided by this guy to a mod. The impression I get from the other email this person sent me is that she didn't actually send any money yet, but was going to, so we dodged a bullet there.

What other info can I submit to the mods?

If you ever come across someone who might be a victim, like in your case. It's happened that a baiter has received mail that has been cc.ed to others or part of a thread. Feel free to pass it on.

If you're not premium, bank accounts and credit cards. Anything you think is weird or peculiar that you don't want to post under log-in.
