This was on the evening news a few minutes ago. Two Nigerians arrested in Pattava today. They were pretending to be a white man from America and roped some lady into sending 3 million baht. They went to the well once too often and police were waiting for them at Western Union today. Thai police are not shy about showing suspects and all the evidence to the press as soon as possible.

The Bangkok Post rarely report these arrests but the Thai press loves when Africans are arrested. Two other other Nigerian clowns were arrested a few weeks ago in Bangkok for the same offense and the Bangkok Post did report that but probably one because one of the Nigerians had drugs on him when he was arrested.

This does the Thai press no credit at all. A scammer is a scammer, and I don't care what his lineage is.

With that said, scammers getting arrested and locked up in a sweaty jail is a lovely thing to see. The one with drugs on him will wish he had stayed in bed that day.
