Lad is officially broken. He is back in Abidjan trying to get back to Ghana. He seems to have very little interest in the package or the money anymore

Making the best of the situation, I tell him that i will send a driver to pick him up in the Cathedral in Abidjan, the same place he spent the first 2 days of his safari... Very Happy

Lad spent yesterday from 6am to 11:30pm at the Cathedral waiting once again to be picked up.

He is currently at the Ghana border waiting for the crossing to open. Apparently after 14 days, lad has finally had enough. Very Happy

Especially loved your calling him a drama queen.

He may not travel again but this lad is still fully a believer, I suspect with a shift in modality, there is more pain to be inflicted on this one.

I think by definition, it's hard to be an orphan if you have a family.

I think the odds are extremely slim that I could get this lad to safari again. BUT..... he still believes and there is $35,000 worth of insurance money hanging out there, so it's possible. I could certainly send him a bunch of long forms to fill out, but if I could get him stranded again that would be better.

It is very possible that Moses will be getting fired for his complete incompetence handling this delivery, and the Regional Manager will be taking over to provide our lad with the 5-star service that we strive for.
