Hi guys - I've just recently come back to eater after a couple of years away. I've re-started baiting and collected another wee piggy just yesterday! Very Happy

I've just received what looks like a list of scammer services into one of my catcher accounts and I don't know what to do with it. I'm not sure if it's bait able, and if it is, it probably needs someone more experienced than me!

The later part of the mail is a letter selling bulk emails. Lads can get their emails from browsing through thousands of guest books. But lads can also buy emails addies sorted by various criteria by bulk. This is such an offer. These mail addresses are sorted by nationality and as you can see Aussie addies are the most expensive and the "Alibaba" lot are the cheapest. I can only speculate what Alibaba means and that wouldn't do much good so therefore I won't. These millions of addies have been gathered by bots roaming the internet.

They also sell compromised credit cards for those who want to use those. How this letter came to you I have no idea, nor if this is legit or if it is a lad trying to rip of his peers.

Any thoughts on what I should do with it Dr Mike? I don't want to just delete it if something can be done. I know it's probably wishful thinking though. Mad

They will be emails of people with accounts on the Alibaba trading site. I've got an account on there for a character and it gets mails specifically targeting users of the site.

I have never heard of the Alibaba site but what you say make sense. What to do with it? I have never baited lads like these but if he is real and have access to those addies and cc's I'd say that he is quite internet savy. For me I would leave him alone. Besides I cant really see what to do with him.

I'd say he's not real and is just a scammer looking to scam other scammers. If he really had CCs and email addresses etc. to sell then he wouldn't be randomly spamming people, he would know exactly where to go to find buyers.

Either way, he's probably not baitable as he will be after a quick payment and won't jump through hoops to get it. If you don't follow his script then he'll drop you and look for another "buyer"
