How many times have you been baiting the same lad?

1.
Did he (the lad) ever figure out that he has been baited by the same scambaiter?

2.
If a lad has been baited several times, would he then be more skeptical in the future? (I know that all lads do not think the same way)

3.
Have you ever heard about a lad that has been baited so much that he quit scamming?

Off topic question:
I have seen several lads responding to emails with the words: "I got your email".

Why do they write that specific sentence? I mean, of course, they have received the email when they respond to a specific baiting-mail?

I hope my off topic question makes sence.

Ive baited the same lads using different characters, the trick is keeping notes so you dont confuse what you have and havent said to them, so you dont give the game away.

I'm baiting one of my old lads right now in fact. It's hilarious. I played with him some months ago (February and March if I'm not mistaken) and now only recently have realized that I'm baiting him again, but he is using a different name while I'm using the same baiting name and almost the same other details as well.

The funniest part is that I got a bank account from him last time and have now done it again, all the while he doesn't seem to realize what's going on.

^^^Same with loan lads, they often use various addresses at the same time and I've occasionally been asked why I'm applying to multiple "lenders" - I just tell them I'm shopping around for the best deal.

I had a Fun Senegalese Lad that I Baited on four occasions. The Lad is quite recognizable to me and was always good for many rants.

I would still like to give this one another crack or two....

I had the same lad for a little over a year. The bait would end, and a week or so later he would contact me again posing as a different lad (but he was using the same email addy). Rinse and repeat. Since I was straight-baiting not doing anything outlandish or crazy, he truly believed in my character.

He still sends me different formats (and using the same email addy).

I've had a three-peat with the same address, the second time was definitely a different lad, but third was lad number one returning. It only took him a week or so to figure out I was somehow familiar.

He appeared to be upset. Poor thing.

I baited the General of All Generals with all three of my standard baiter personae and he never suspected a thing - but then he was a complete idiot.

I've got two old-timers who have been put through the mill by several of my characters. One of them was one of my very first. The really hilarious thing about that one is that having failed miserably to get my character's cash with one format, he promptly tried him with a different one, which was based on the premise that he urgently needed my character's help to spirit away the $10m he had stolen from his employers. When the character got tired of the replacement one, he was quite happy to offer the old format back again!

What's more, during this time my character changed from being a barely human circus strong man, with a pet 35-foot boa constrictor who couldn't put two words of English together in the right order to being a Knight of The Realm, Intelligence Officer on the Queen's household staff with an office in Buckingham Palace. It worked very well indeed! - and is probably capable of resuscitation any time I care to send him a message with 'For old time's sake' written into it.

I'm convinced that it matters little what crap you throw at these morons, if they are convinced you are going to cough up with the spondulicks, they'll just keep on believing.

EDIT - For the sake of clarification, it was the character and not the boa constrictor who couldn't put two words of English together ..... boa constrictors can't speak ...... at least, they can't speak English ..... perhaps they hiss in Brazilian ...... or something.

I've baited the same Lad for sure three times. I often think that baiting the Darlings that I'm getting the same 10 or so Knuckleheads over and over again as the scripts and Bank accounts are the same.

The same lads come crawling back every now and then for me. The Christmas rush is a well documented phenomenon where everybody sees a rash of returning pets in October and November.

I am always happy to put them through my funhouse again and remind them of why they dropped me in the first place.

Occasionally, when I have a lad with long term keep value, I will rebait him with a different character to extend the length of time he spends on my hook. Ozzy is a good current example of this.

I've baited more lads than I can count anymore simultaneously with different characters. As for lads coming back for more abuse, there's been two that I know of. One I baited twice and another three times. I passed up the chance to bait a third a second time because he was rather boring and whiny. Maybe I've baited more than those two on a single character, who knows? Lads change email addresses and characters.
