I told him to figure the amount himself. I suspect he figured wrongly, but I had a long dental appointment when I would normally wake up and start baiting as this character, then came back and took a nap. I think I'll show him the correct calculation after he's paid the new charges off, along with telling him that the previous payment was reversed.

So I took a different tact with this lad. I told him that the payment to the sheeper had gone through figuring I'd let him sort it out with the mule (I'm sure there were some discussions and hopefully that mule has been decommissioned). I haven't heard any complaints from the sheeper about the payment yet, but if it comes up I can confirm for him that our accounts do indeed show that the transfer completed successfully!!

Meanwhile, Mr.Scott was so impressed with the efficient of my company that he requested to buy more product and that we hold the original order so that it can all be picked up in one shipment (i.e. thanks for the money sir, can we please use your company to milk some more off our stolen CC's).

I now just waiting for an estimate from the shipper on the second order but smell more black pork getting ready to be served up...

StandardF finally decided that they needed to figure out why they never received the shipping fees. Hey, that's between them and the agent with his name on the account into which the funds were transferred.

Unfortunately, we're working in the warehouse today so phone conversations are not an option.

I always warn my customers that any issue with their shippers is strictly between them and their shipper so I've pushed it all back to ScottC to figure out what's going on.

Waiting to see how this one plays out, but hopefully in a manner that illuminates some new ways to mess with these lads...

Scott claims to still be interested but hasn't yet come back with another card. The second prong of his attack has stopped responding altogether. Not sure if they've twigged or just trying to figure things out...

After not hearing from this lad all day I sent his sheeper a note stating that there actually had been a problem at the banks and that the funds had indeed not been delivered to his account.
I told him the funds had been held up in transit during an investigation, etc, that they were finally returned to us but that we were told we couldn't transfer funds into that account now.

Since he had already started on a second order I told him we'd just lump all of the fees to ship both orders into one final payment after the original lad completes payment on the second order.

Hopefully he bites and keeps sending over cards. I've either lost him completely or just set a seond/deeper hook.

Time will tell...

I appear not to have lost this lad completely. The sheeper said "no problem, send me the original payment now." I told him we had now combined the two orders into one and could only pay for the shipping after the customer had completed payment. Hopefully that'll get some more black pork flowing today...

Scotty came back with "try another round on the first card". That resulted in a bad code forcing us to call the bank, resulting in the original charge getting reversed as well (hats off to B8er for that little trick).

On Friday I sent the sheeper the sheeping for the second order, but didn't send the lad the email until a few minutes ago. I couldn't resend what bounced, because the payment for the first order was pulled back.

Just got an email saying that the bank changed the account number. This is, of course, nonsense. It means that the mule's account was closed and he has to use his other account.

The sheeper sent me the same note before I had even informed him that they lad had completed payment on his order. I sat on that for awhile and then responded to an earlier email from the sheeper finally telling him that the lad HAD paid for the order and asking that he send over the bank account details. I'm now waiting for it all to catch up with him but I'm sure there will be some confusion delaying payment.

I assume you reported up the updated account? If so, I'll sit on it for awhile before telling him there's a problem with it...

I sent up the pink pig. He sent a couple "did ya get it" emails so I had to stop and take care of it.

Considering he sent me the details about three times (including the once before I told him the order had been paid off and was ready to go) I'm sure there's going to be some confusion on exactly where we supposed to send the shipping fees. I hate it when that happens...

I'm balancing payments to the sheeper and reversed CC's with this lad this morning.
He thinks the payments on the way so he's not going to have to come up with more black pork but that will change before the day is over. I'm pretty sure that there's ultimately going to be a problem with the payment to the sheeper.

He's so chomping at the bit to get paid now that he no longer can separate what the buyer knows from what the sheeper knows.... Cool
