He's starting to collapse at this point, I think. We're still struggling with his inability to access a US account from Benin (bank policy or course) and then out of the blue asked if I had paypal account or a credit card. Not a scripted request, but he definitely misfired with his work.

Much slapping ensued.

Another little nugget, if you know your way around the mule corral, let me know how you think I can best proceed. I sent a "what's going on?" poke and got this:

1) USAA Bank
2) Frost Bank

The investor said it will be very easy for him to transfer money in to this banks.

Please just put $10 inside and leave the rest for me and the investor.

You have a mate in Hawaii who's willing to set-up the account for you.

Find a Hawaiian bank that doesn't allow web access, assuming that he won't be able to log-in, if/when the funds are flashed in the account you could chop him by "receiving" different details for forwarding the money - just create an email address similar to his from which the info came to you, and after, copy those details to him as proof that he sent them. (As per Ahmastin Geebougah's thread: http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=252085) You could get a good rant out of it.

The main problem I see here is if real funds are sent - if you give him a plausible fake-account that concern disappears.

Fear not, there won't ever be anything remotely like a real account.

My poor addled Lou, 93 years old, has gotten confused over the weekend and doesn't understand why the money isn't in the account that she has already. It appears he's forgotten that it won't accept money from Benin.

She's going to need to start all over to make him understand, I fear.
