<strike>The young lovers arranged to meet under the station clock at midday</strike> Sorry, the "diplomat" and his client arranged to meet at the station information booth at 11:00.

This is Tony, he is a diplomat (yes really, he must be as he is delivering funds to clients)

Tony has Ziege's fund and all he needs to do is collect the fees so that he can hand it over.

Tony comes from parts unknown, but arrived in Bern last night and agreed to catch the train to Zürich for the meeting.

He's not looking happy after only 5 minutes of waiting for Ziege to arrive.

Tony spent about 45 minutes wandering around Zürich main station looking for a man with a grey beard and walking sticks, but to no avail.

His text messages got more frantic as the time went on

Tony's oga has also been repeatedly calling Ziege (calls ignored as I'm at work and can't be bothered to talk to him) and also emailing.

The good news is that Ziege has emailed the oga to confirm that the meeting took place and that he handed over the money. He even has the signed receipt and Tony's photograph to prove the meeting took place. Twisted Evil

The phone was on maximum zoom and the pictures are grabbed from the video as I wandered past him to go to the cafe to buy a sandwich and then sat and ate it reading a book and occassionally fiddling with my phone.

There's about 5 minutes of video, but it was taken without actually looking at the phone, so I'm not sure how much of it actually has him in shot and not blocked by random people.

Please note, B8er is an experienced baiter. However, we highly discourage activity like this. This involves a big risk in safety when done as an individual. Thank you Mods for the public safety announcement. You are correct, it is risky, but everything was assessed before I started filming.

A few safety facts that i didn't post in the original post.

The venue was Zürich's main station, which has numerous exits and frequent train/tram/bus leaving (and taxis) - at the first sign he had clocked me, I would have made a hasty exit and jumped on the first one.

Before starting to record him, I watched him arrive on his train from Bern to make sure there were no friends with him and continued watching him for a further 5 minutes or so before starting to record.

While the images and video look close up, I was a fair distance from him all the time and the zoom was used on the camera.

I was accompanied by a non-baiting friend, who watched all the time from a position next to the station security and was ready to involve them at the first sign "Tony" or anyone else was taking an interest in me (we decided not to report him to the police or security as much as we would have liked to, as neither of us are Swiss and we didn't want the hassle of trying to deal with them).

They don't normally turn up alone. At least one will be there before you turn up as a scout.
When we did the documentaries, I didn't see any other lads but the one I was dealing with but there were a dozen sets of other eyes amongst the other baiters, security and the camera crew and they did see the scouts.

Just because you didn't see them, doesn't mean that they weren't there.

^^^ A valid point, but unless for some reason he already had people in or close to Zürich before I spoke to him, they would have had to be on the same train as him, as the call to him to confirm arrangements took place after the previous train left. The call switched the meeting place on him from Bern to Zug, making him travel to me (I never had any intention of going there) and I then switched it again to Zürich (to make it easier for him) when he was on the train.

I managed to get a usable 2:45 from the recording https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh7QWhbueiA.

In the 30ish minutes from the time that I spoke to him to tell him that I was just getting off the tram and walking into the station until he wandered off down a platform (following him there was a risk I wasn't taking) and we left, I had 15 missed calls from him and 5 from the oga in London (or using a UK mobile at least).

^^^ Possibly, but as I was looking like a stressed businessman trying to get to the remaining seat in the cafe area while struggling with a bag, coffee, sandwich and phone in my hand, I doubt that he would realise that the phone was actually recording all the time.

Quite apart from the audacious nature of the bait itself, this is a tremendous teaching tool for us newbies, and I am in total awe, especially as I have safari ambitions of my own. In the distant past, I have occasionally been engaged on surveillance ops of a similar nature, but at least I had the advantage of well-trained and professional back-up and support and the nature of the targets was well-known, but I can say from experience that it's not nearly as easy as you might imagine to remain totally incognito, mainly because your target is in a state of wariness and heightened awareness. I'm glad you didn't follow him along that platform at the end!

As for scouts, I'm wondering about the man in the white top and blue trousers (pants, dear friends across The Pond) who wanders across at 1:40, and there's somebody else (a woman, or a large flabby man?) standing outside the shop at 2:00 who caught my eye.

So far this morning 6 short calls from the lawyer who gets upset and hangs up every time I refer to the "diplomat" as the "thieving delivery boy" or to him as an "incompetent idiot" or "behaving like a stupid little child"

Just had a call from a Spanish mobile number that I didn't recognise, so answered it to try and work out which bait it was and it was my old friend "Tony the Diplomat". Call didn't last long as he hung up when I said "where is my money you little thief".

So it looks likely that he's Spanish based and possibly flew in to Switzerland for the meet.

Yeah. It seems a bit unlikely, but after that look he soon ended the call and left. It seemed that he may have stopped for a while to look behind to see if you follow and then decided not to take any risk.
