First bank account...now what?

I was just screwing off, straight baiting some "surplus" letters, because this is a hobby after all, it should fun too and those are easy to drag out for time, but after only a few very short emails on my part, moron lad tells me to pay $1,550 to a US Bank account with full info.

Every bait I've done previously (mostly romance) wanted WU payment, this is the first time I've gotten real bank account info. I've sent account info to mod for reporting.

My question is now what do I do with the bait? I have shockingly little invested in it, not worried if I loose the lad, but I wonder if he has more bank accounts to give me. How long should I wait before telling him "I tired to make the payment but it was refused"? Clearly, I'm not getting paid again until monday or tuesday (5 or 6 days from now), I can "pay" then for sure, and there will probably be a car wreck on the way...

How long does it take from reporting bank account til it gets closed is what I'm asking. At least how long should I wait before telling him I tried to pay.

If you tell your lad that you tried to make payment using the bank details he gave you and your bank advised you that the account had been suspended because it it had been "flagged" how can your lad prove otherwise? You make the rules not your lad. I sometimes live next door to bank / WU office and sometimes it takes me a 3 day trip by boat - all depends on the pace you want to set. There are no right ways and wrong ways to play the game - it's your game...

First, Congrats on your first Piggy. ...and prime USA pork too.
Now put a pink Piggy in your signature line. You do that by going to "Profile" and "Change Profile" :$_ lad: << use the code here but delete the space between the underscore and the L. You will rarely if ever get confirmation that the account is actually closed. If you do, it may very well come from an angry Lad or one saying there was a problem with the account they sent and usually sending another.

I would stall for a few days to give the bank time to close the account then tell the Lad that you tried to send the money but there's a problem with the account he sent you. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Where all you take the Bait in the meantime is entirely up to you.

Do not tell them this. In many countries that could well result in you (not your character) being guilty of tipping-off a money launderer, which has heavy penalties.

Just tell them that the transfer failed, but you do not know why.

Thanks for tips on handling this...I'll adjust my plans accordingly.

I've only been dragging this guy for a week, with just one or two line replies, I plan to drag him farther for my own agenda...I was just very surprised to get bank account without trying very hard. Pretty sure I can drag him another 7 to 10 days before even attempting "payment."

He demanded payment "today", I said sure, but not til next tuesday...he says OK. REALLY? Didn't even demand I borrow the money or sell the children? We got a winner here folks.

I'd love to see what experience could to do this idiot, I've been BRIEF with him, one or two line emails, gives me US bank account and 6 day extension? Now I got 6 days to dream up some kind of bizarro world hell, you know, "idle hands" and all that Very Happy

I know we all have different Strategies but I like to Play a Wednesday Pig Giver like this:

Wednesday – I will attempt to get to the Bank Tomorrow Morning

Thursday – Well I meant to but Got Busy but Promise to Tomorrow

Friday – I got to Bank and made the Transfer

At this point the Lad goes nuts and wants his Transfer Slip which I can’t go to inquire about until at least Monday.

Essentially use Weekends and Holidays and Natural Disasters and Anything else you can get away with to your advantage.

If I can get anything more interesting than a bank account, I'll post details elsewhere. Right now what I have is a bland, boring moron who is in desperate need of further de-education...but as my weak bra straps are always causing problems, it's anyone's guess as to what happens next.

I just wanted to put it out there, in my limited number of baits (alot but probably under 50), I've never seen one this ready to hand out vital information, nor this compliant with so little investment on my part. I SUSPECT a nubie and potential fodder for eater at large.

I found another fun way around this without revealing information...I sent this today:

Sometimes I have told a lad the transfer failed because of "lack of funds" in the receivers account, in the hope they transfer their ill-gotten gains into that account and then have it closed.

4 weeks and this still drags on, fund transfer is "pending", it should complete sometime later this week, for sure...

I'm thinking it's time for a form. This lad has been amazingly compliant so far, it might just work..."homeland security has stopped the transfer and seized the funds, needs you to fill out this form to prove this isn't money laundering and funding terrorists...otherwise they won't release the money into your account. "

Anyone got any links for something appropriate?

I always send my transfers after 2pm and send them 3 day wire. Drives them nuts as if it is sent after 2pm Monday that means Tuesday is the first business day and it won't be in their account until 12am EST Friday. Gives time for the account to get killed as well and then we start again Smile

Another alternative is to turn it in to a 'dollar chop' and tell the Lad you got instructions to send the money by Western Union which you've done.

Draw up a spoof email and send him a copy. Then you can set up a new mail account as the 'dollar chopper' and tell him that he's stealing money from your mugu but you'll cut him in if he agrees to help you.

I've never had a successful dolla chop, I'm mostly a bank killa, and I baited this lad with a different account to see how it would play out and he's not interested in anything but easy money.

I found a 10-page homeland security form here elsewhere, I'll send that off to him....see if he's game. I suspect I'll loose him, just not a creative lad...patient, but not overly bright. If he doesn't understand the email he just doesn't reply.

I just KNOW my boy has another piggy to give up...and maybe a form too...one can hope.

Surfowl: where do you get bank transfer forms? I'm reasonably good at photoshop (well...gimp) this site is huge takes awhile to find things sometimes.

You are willing to travel to Ghana or Benin but not Togo because you are terrified about Ebola. Establish that lad is in Togo - IP address etc - and then get him to travel to Ghana or Benin to pick up cash from you.
