Trying to track down a UK-based scam artist shifting Ebola "cures".

Called the UK mobile number provided, he answered, but he's using gmail so email headers aren't much help and no trace of his mobile anywhere else.

Dr Akhere's Spiritual Temple is where it's at, apparently...

Any ideas?

i want to share this wonderful testimony to the world as a
whole in case there is some body in this same situation. i was
diagnosed of EBOLA VIRUS good 7 months,until i meant a
woman with name Anita she told me about a man called Dr Akhere ,i was not too sure
if he was real until i contacted him my self. I thought that there

It is a despicable modality. Maybe bait him using another modality (ASEM of some kind)? IMHO Ebola+possible witchcraft = bad news.

That's not to say you can't waste his time with a bait unrelated to either the disease or supernatural.

Other folk have thoughts on this one?

Why do you think he is in the UK and not using a disposable number from Nigeria (or other West African country)?

^ it's a follow-me number. +4470* is a follow-me, which redirects to a foreign number anywhere in the world. UK mobiles start with +4471 to +4479. The operator codes have 5 digits and the number itself has 6. ie 07845 123456

Interesting, re: the follow-me number. Wasn't aware of that. Had assumed UK-based, so hovered around that line of inquiry on the phone (not a number he can track) and seemed to confirm this.

Getting somewhere with a fake email I've set up though – seems to think I'm on the cusp of sending him some cash, so hopefully will get some more details soon.

Selbar; As Tsnerd and Padme suggested, you should drop this guy. He is a spellcaster of sorts, albeit a current affairs happy spellcaster. Google portions of his format and the same thing comes up in connection with HIV and all sorts of other ailments.

We don't bait spellcasters for good reasons. Please take some time to read Eater's ground rules and guidelines on what is acceptable and useful, and what is not.
