Oddly enough hitting a client up for money for "mensuration pads" is a common thing. Perhaps it's designed to be a convincer to make one think that they are undoubtedly a woman.

One of the reasons I quit romance baits (besides the ick factor) was the request for money for those pads. I'd ask them, "you mean the church you're staying at doesn't provide those"? Or I'd ask the "lawyer" to please buy her a box and charge it to my bill.

Another thought, it may be an introduction to paying money.

Once a client has paid any amount of money it gets them over a hurdle and makes paying more money - much more money - a lot easier.

Also it may filter out those who really won't or can't pay anything.

Or it may just be a quick and easy few $.

Any time I've been asked to pay for such they want between Three and Five Hundred Dollars. The request usually comes when the 'Five Thousand' is up in the air....

The Kotex Krew are funny. I think they do it because they think men will be so grossed out that they'll shove money at 'her' just to get her to shut up about it. Well, that and something to do with playing on people's emotions since most people don't like to see their loved ones denied basic needs like food, water, shelter and umm... tampons.

I have never come across this request, although the Rom Lads aren't really my thing. The first thing I thought of, thrown in with the Igbo, was, "Is this a test to see if you were another guyman." Much like I might respond to someone I think is a fellow baiter with "CDXIX," could this be an established code? The Igbo words do not speak highly of you, and again, I looked at these as a further test to ferret out your true intentions.

Perhaps those of you with more experience with this request could chime in and add if you think it is a possibility.

Dumb as a box of rocks this one. Maxi Pad came back online and chatted Mad Chemist up forever. She has suddenly learned english. Most of it is boring, but this is funny....

After she has learned, and accepted, what Mad Chemist does for a living there is this exchange:

It appears to go back and forth. At other times it is more interactive talking about where it works asking me questions, etc. And then it will suddenly go strange or pidgin. So I think you're right about the multiple boxes being open. Also, it asked for menstrual pads again.

I googled for you because I was curious too. From what I can gather, he's insulting you.

I'm not sure about all of them but this one in particular:

"oloriburuku"- comes up in translators as jerk but I think they're being polite. I found out it is Youruba. Google hits returned meanings of 'you are a stupid person', 'you are a stupid thief' and 'motherf*cker'.

Maybe you should post the chat in here and see if some of the folks that are better at figuring this stuff out can get it. I'm curious to know what all of the other things mean now.

I will add some corrections. It appears the phrases appear in Igbo and Yoruba.
