Hi, I'm new here...
I was reading some of the stuff here on the forum and I saw the thing about the mugu guestbook, so I looked at it. The problem is, some of the things on the guestbook kind of scare me off. There's some really strange sexual things on there that other people have posted Embarassed

. It's kind of weird, and I wonder if some of it is illegal. I was wondering if by putting my scambait mail on there I might entice some of the sexual pervs on there to email me. I don't want to get pervy scams and definitely don't want to get in trouble with the law or anything! Sad

Do you have any suggestions?

Welcome to Eater. You can always sign up for the Lad Transit or look in the Surplus thread.

Maybe you should try the Lad transit. Or if all you want is more Lads to bait, check out the surplus section.

Now that you've posted. Maybe grab yourself a mentor from the Mentorship program and get some one-on-one help from a more seasoned Baiter.

Don't worry, when you sign up for the Lad Transit, you won't get any pervy stuff. Just scammers asking for money. Here's the link. The directions are there as well. You basically set up a new email addy that is sent to lads and it will get passed around. Before long you'll be getting tons of spam in it.

Hi Otto-everybody's a newb at one point or other. You don't have to do romance scams or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. I agree with Bware and Big Al-look in surplus. You get a better idea of what the scam's about.

Also take a read through the Stickies and sign up for a mentor, if you like. They can be helpful in finding the direction you want to go.

). It was kind of strange to see those things on the guestbook, it kind of freaked me out (like I said, I think some of the things on there must be illegal, I definitely didn't want to get involved in those types of things). I'll definitely look at the stickies and the mentorship.

^^^ I agree with you. I took a look at the guestbook in question and I think I know what you're referring to. Nothing to fear, you'll find nothing of the sort here!! Even the romance lads that we bait are straight forward love baits. Nothing illegal.

You can also take a look at ScamWarners for lads. Sometimes that's helpful because you'll get to see the lads scripts that they will be sending you so you can plan ahead since you already know the direction they intend to go.
