With the improvement of technology, you too, can just have the opportunity to not have a life, and spam random forums, and be meaningless, and hate your neighbor's annoying dog and envy his Impala, and, well, stuff.

I suck and have loser tatooed on my forehead. This reminds me of how badly I suck at just being sucky.

And if I wasn't such a loser, I would say something about hamsters....but I won't.

I have a feeling that Carrol's just a poor misunderstood soul. Everybody deserves a chance, and so does Carrol. If everybody keeps an open mind this could turn into something beautiful!

As funny as the spammers seem, I think letting their threads live for just alittel while to ridicule them is testament to the job the Mods do here. they obviously let us see the best but, like mice, where there's one there's 100. The numbers, I can only imagine, that they S-can to keep Eater clean of spammer poop and make more room for the PWT.

Actually, you have no idea how many spammers try to clutter our forums but don't quite make it. It's a game in the mod lounge to try to catch spammers before they can drop their poop on the board.

Sometimes it's easy because a glance at new signups will often bring up dodgy-sounding names or IPs. But sometimes they can fool us, like our new friend Carrol here, by using a non-suspicious name and signing up from an IP in a location that is not exactly a spammer hotbed. (I'm assuming proxy.)

If we see a new member with a name like "zlcxcppmqq2" and a China IP, the odds that we have a live one are high. And usually easily confirmed with the aid of Google.

But clowns like this one are harder so that's why we keep Snerd on hand as Associate Editor and Designated Poet to revise their posts.

Every once in a while a real member comes close to getting zapped. Our esteemed colleague freeipod is a classic example. Laughing

When I first saw that name I just knew we had a spammer and was all set to click the ban button. I'm glad I didn't. Very Happy

(Actually, I get a real kick out of that username now. Great choice, FI!)
