It really must have been a few years since I last visited the 419Eater…..and it’s amazing to see that it is still a thriving community full of dedicated baiters brimming with ingenuity and dastardly manipulation.

Even through my absence I have still been baiting romance laddies, and have had some of my pets hanging on a string for a few years now.

Nothing really compares to the satisfaction of an hilarious safari bait though, those frantic Emails from a desperate laddie that finds himself stranded and ‘surfering greatly’ a long way from home and with rapidly diminishing funds.

Is the 5imba Safari Camp modality still operational?
Are any of the baiters from my day still active?
Whatever happened to Yeawhatever?
Did Mr Gomer ever find treasure at the end of the safari rainbow?

I’m looking forward to having a bit of a catch up on all the jolly japes... Very Happy

I hope you'll come visit more often. As in regularly.

Your old SSC modality is still alive. Doc Williams continues to run it. It hasn't been used a lot lately but it still gets dusted off on occasion. I sent a lad to Korup a couple of months ago. He did not appreciate it.

There are still a few of us old-timers around. And a couple of long-term lads, notably Hector who has been on his latest safari for over a year.

Pull up a chair and starting checking out some of the threads. There's some great baiting going on by people who came after you. And those baits include some epic safaris with maximum lad pain.

yes, we are still going strong, and the Hotel modality is strong and effective... Many a screaming lad has burned his money on taxis going round in circles looking for one or another of them.

Welcome back! We didn't have too much contact when I was still here under my old alias (same avatar, though), but when I came back last summer you were one of the first ones I noticed missing and wondered where you had gone. Echoing Juan here: having you back as a regular would be great.

Hi Simba! Great to see you back. Will you be willing to autograph a few 5imba Safari Camp towels? I understand that they are made from the finest Egyptian cotton and make wonderful souvenirs. I have heard that the 5imba Safari Camp never issues used towels to guests.

YeaWhatever is still alive and kicking. I do not bait as often or as hard as I used to, but I still love reading through some of the hilarious baits that the members here are still running.

One thing that is rather disappointing is the lack of creativity of the lads. I still see the same tired old formats from many years ago. If I decided to leap over to the dark side, I am positive that I could come up with something a lot more believable that the crap they are still trying.

Keep up the great work folks and remember to have fun. Once this starts to feel like a job, it's really hard to bait with enthusiasm.
