1. If you have a Skype number does it charge the caller the rate to call that place. IE. If I am in Australia, but my Skype number is in the UK does it charge my lad Niger to UK rates?
2. What is the most expensive place to call from Nigeria? |

If you make an outbound call on Skype it will charge you from the location that you are at/registered.
Skype calling rates: http://www.skype.com/en/rates/ The link is for US outbound calls. You may need to search for your Country.
ETA: Nigeria has recently became cheap to call. In the US it is around .04 cents a minutes. One rate show about .075 cents a minute. I have no clue what it would be for a lad to call. I do know they like to keep is short and sweet. So, if you set up voice mail. Make it as long as possible.  |

I am getting rather good at keeping them on the phone. Now to get them to call me and keep them there.
If they are calling my Skype USA number they are charged to call the US right?
Australian rates are about 4cents a minute on Skype
Edit: Found out I am in one of the most expensive regions for them to call anyways XD. (sadly the most expensive regions are not available on Skype.) |

they usually do their calls with their mobile phones. and they have fairly good rates to major european countries and the usa.

I guess, airtel offers very good conditions for lads to call usa and uk, aswell as other countries.
7 cent per minute to the usa is quite nice.
oh, and they offer a service that everyone can look up international flights from and to nigeria. I guess, that's why they sometimes know, that our airlines are bogus.... |

here in europe, it's 3 euro-cent/minute (3,4 cent with MwSt/Vat).
so 4 US$-cent would be matching (skype just shows euro-prices to me). |
