How about slowing down, and explaining things. And how is anyone supposed to block this person just on your say-so?

For one thing--apparently he's using GMail, and those IPs can't be tracked.

I would suggest removing those email addressess and lad's names as those are the first thing they are going to use for googling. Your own baiting name is annother thing to remove.

Scamwarners is for that. People aren't supposed to find here. Surplus section is bit of an exeption to this but a message there won't ruin your bait unless you are careless.

I am afraid you've lost this scammer but there are plenty more fish in the sea. This is one good reason for making separate posts:

1 - Surplus 419 Scam Letters forum, just post the mail itself without any commentary or discussion about baiting it.

2 - Main scambaiting forum, where you talk about baiting. the post here can link to the scam letter posted in surplus, but to avoid googling lads, should avoid including your character's name or email address, and the scammer's email address at the very least, as mentioned above already. This is why many baiters use nicknames or abbreviations for their scammers and characters. A potential victim doesn't need to see the details of our baits, but posted scam letters can be very useful.

"We dey together broda" is pidgin english "We are together, brother" but probably just means "I see through you" in this context.
"Your email is there" - he saw your email here at eater and knows you are messing with him.

The fact that he thinks you are a lad shows how badly he has misjudged Eater's remit. Let him stew for a bit then reply in pidgin. If he thinks you are a lad, so be it; you can lead him around by the nose all the same, just with your other hand.

^^Well, I've had no luck since GMail started storing the attached images on the servers.

And the tracking stuff I've used no longer work.

I know that if the lad possibly used outlook or an email program that it may be possible. Or that you can tell from the time stamp the approximate location.

How can you track it now?
