Back in November my former mentor Dharma asked me for a favour.

“CH, I’ve got an orphanage lad I want you to bait because I’m too busy playing GTA V, take care of him will you?”

And so I was introduced to the lad I’ll call Evangelical Mike from here on. He says he has an orphanage in dire need of foreign assistance.

Currently we are in need of funds for foundation due to the fact that the only facility we have right now is definitely in a very bad condition. However, the worse thing that we are going through now is, the fact that we are being kicked out of the facility by the Government because the roof of the building is leaking and they want us to show proof of adequate funds, which is $10,000 Dollar USD to build a newer one. On behalf of me, staffs and the orphans here in Children Care Orphanage Home, we ask that you kindly come to our aid, because your help can make a significant contribution to the life of the children and the operation of the Orphanage. Please pray for Children Care Orphanage Home as we look forward to hearing from you. We are excited to see how God will provide for the children that call Children Care Orphanage Home.

And of course any donations could be made through Western Union.

Well, Ilya was more than willing to help this worthy cause. In fact he ‘donated’ funds through Money Gram half a dozen times to assist these needy orphans. Sadly, none of these were ever picked up by Mike, and with Christmas fast approaching it was time to set the sights a little higher.

This very good news as will bring much needed monies for orphans. However, some on board have raised possibility that there are horrible people try scam businesses like ours, which I said "No Evang. Mike, he is decent God fearing man, he not one of these criminals", but there is also problem in that we need pictures of yourself and orphans for fundraiser. This will also prove to board that you not one of these criminals. What the promotional team would like is pictures of yourself dressed as Santa with a sign saying "Merry Christmas Eater" so we know that you are indeed person in photo and then pictures of you handing out sweets to the orphans as Santa. These will encourage people at Fundraising dinner be generous with donations, which help orphans more. We not have much time for this I apologise, but sooner I receive pictures better for all.
Remember, sooner I get pictures, better the presentation team can make promotion for Orphanage, more donations likely be received.

First he sent random images of orphans, and I wasn’t sure he would comply, but two days and many emails later he finally sent:

While these pictures are nice and will be of some use to get the Promotional team started, they aren't what is needed. Once you send the following pictures I will send the payment details.

1) A picture of yourself dressed as Santa Claus with a sign saying "Merry Christmas Eater" This is so we can be definitely sure is you in picture. (Is a legal requirement before using any other images of you)

I appreciate this will take some time, so once they are done send them as soon as possible.

At this point Ilya goes silent, it was Christmas after all, I was otherwise occupied and in any case the pictures were too late and still didn’t conform to the requirements laid out. Ilya expressed his disappointment at being let down by Mike.

I just returned after Christmas Holidays and was most disappointed that pictures you provided were no good as did not conform with legal requirements I gave you so alternative charity Save the Whales was chosen as corporate charity instead. We managed raise over £25,000 for this Charity, money I had hoped be used for your orphanage but is a New Year and I sure we will be able raise funds for you here. I am currently in discussion over how company can do this, but to avoid your orphanage missing out again, I advise that future legal requests we make are followed exactly. I look forward your response and helping your orphans soon.

So while the bait has cooled a little for me, it still continues. A lad who likes running repeatedly to money gram for no reward and produces bad trophies such as these is a definite keeper.

Excellent work CH. This is a but if season and i don't get the burqa. Looks like a female Muslim Santa which is odd when you think about it. But still Kudos.
I think that this entitles you to a Santa
