Hello, been gone while, first one is asking me to send money to Mason City Iowa. First time I have seen someone asking to send money in the USA, is this more common?

Prob a dumb question, but I didnt see anything.

If western union or moneygram it can be collected anywhere.

If you are told to send money by WU or MG or bank transfer to someone in the USA, PM the information to a mod. The mod will pass it on to a warner, who will contact the person, who is likely a mule.

I've been asked by a few lads recently to send money to someone in the US (mules). One is a known (willing) accomplice who was already under investigation by authorities in Colorado. The other was an innocent victim in California who was warned about the scammer and was, hopefully, saved. (I got a nice rant from my lad about it, too!) Definitely report to a moderator!

Hi.

Just to clarify - if your lad asks you to wire money to a financial institution such as a bank or credit union, please report pass the information on to a moderator.

If your lad tells you to send money to Western Union, Moneygram or any other type of money wire service please do not report that to a moderator - there is bleep all that can be done with it and no one to warn or alert.

Once I was told (as one of my fishers in Maryland) to send money by WU to a mule in the same city where I was living. The address was obviously fake (the main post office) but I checked the county GIS system, verified that this person did exist and had recently moved there, and provided the address to the mod.

Not Western Union or Moneygram Details. Send Bank Details though. Unless you are a premium member. Then there is a dedicated portal you can use yourself.
