The safari has now entered its eight day and the lads have started to safari themselves. Yesterday the lads called and told me that they were so afraid of Mr R@ndy that they had decided to travel to Abidjan. The lads also got the information that the money is now stranded in Monrovia and they are thinking about going. It’s just the lack of funds, will they make it or not? Stay tuned…

Two sections from one of their last emails:

I suspect at least part of their whiny story are lies, but there's still more than enough truth in there to realize they're having a very, very rough time. I love it!

Just curious, though: why would a radio station give them phones??

I honestly hope that your lads will take this opportunity to turn their lives around, get a job that does not involve scamming, live long and prosper.

But if they don't, I hope they remain stranderd in hash conditions.

I doubt their story too but i would say that this is still an effective bait as they are spending money on things they didn't want to pay.

That radio station is propably just a lie they made up to explain why they still can communicate with you. I figure that some radio station out there did offer a phone as a prize in some contest so they figure out that in richer countries they are handing them over all the time. Don't correct them.

I can't post the emails until I get back but my character and lots of Eros are now in Monrovia. Since my phone was smashed when I was attacked at the airport, I can't call our desperate duo. I told them I borrowed a phone from a SH guest to call them and have to keep chastising them for trying to call the number.

Meanwhile, they have been told that I am interviewing other applicants for charitable proceeds and that I am sorely disappointed in. Their lack of commitment to their orphans....meanwhile, Choppah's sharpening the axe.

I do so love it when a lad is whining in pain. If only I could give these two lads a large dose of the pain I suffer every day with the peripheral neuropathy in both my feet and legs. Then they really would have something to whine about.

Our lads seem to lack stamina: they have returned to ghana after 8 days of misery. I'll leave Choppa to post the whining email.

My character is still stuck in Monrovia but the fun isn't over. Travel is still in these lads' future. But first some creative writing:

Since I still have obligations in Monrovia, I can see no other option than courier. Again, please supply me with a list of your expenses.

I asked for a list of expenses, dude! And how did you make it back across the border to Ghana without an ID? Like the famous phone that was stolen, sold or otherwise vanished-that he's still using to call Choppah.

This lad is truly despicable -he next sends Choppah and I a photo obituary of a small child with the name of his "orphanage" photoshopped in. I am not going to post it-just thinking about it makes be angry.

The courier who is actually a pilot aka Choppah gets this:

So the lads want to use an agent to collect their expenses and the 50,000 EU. Anyone here believe for an instant a lad would let another person near a score of that size?

Meanwhile, the lad gets told off by the head of the Charity:

"Hi!

I’m very sad to hear about the child that died, but you have told me before that you have staff att the orphanage, where were them when this happened?

xxxxx is my manager in West Africa and I trust her completely so nothing is going to change there. She is at the moment helping out a few other projects in Liberia and it’s going just fine. I have so much other things to do so if I should handle it all you would sometimes have to wait 5-6 days at the time for email answers etc and that’s not necessary. Better than that you work with someone who knows the area and has the possibility to answer faster.

I talked to xxxx today and she is going to use a shipping company that is certified in the European Union to deliver cash. In that order the complete transfer chain from us to you through Bouake and Monrovia gets complete and either us or you risk getting into any problem. I don’t know anything about Western Union but our lawyer say that no serious charity organizations in Europe uses them since the risk of being scammed or the money getting lost is too big.

I’m sorry for all the extra expenses and all the trouble but talk to Miss xxxx about your expenses, as I told you she will cover your expenses.

I’m having a conference call with the board of the trust today and they are starting to get VERY impassion, but I’ll tell them to give us a few days more."

Love it-the lad tries to throw my character under the bus. And he wants the courier/pilot to leave the money with the his agent, who we think is in Accra, all because his ID was stolen in Bouake. Maybe he forgot that he emailed pictures of himself and friend to Choppah at the cafe. Maybe I'll remind him that our pilot will have no problems recognizing him from the photo.

I really despise this lad. I noticed the dead child changed gender. And compensation to the family? I thought he/she was an orphan? He definitely deserves more pain!

Meanwhile Choppah managed to get the "orphanage ID" , clearly manufactured and a home address. I'll let him post it. We are open to suggestion for further destinations...

I also noticed the family oddity. If they are close enough related to receive a compensation equaling what a normal Ghanaian makes in almost 7 years, then they are bloody well close enough to take care of the little rascal in the first place.

You need to investigate if you should sponsor an orphanage that is so careless with how they spend their cash. Perhaps a call from the lawyer would do the lad good.

The lads are of the worst kind possible and they deserve all the misery we possibly can pour down on them. Soon they will have to make another safari in order to claim any money but what they don’t know is that the currier is crocked…

The rumor of my generosity has spread around at the cafés in Ghana and every day new lads email me directly and ask if I can sponsor their orphanage. Some are even using the same orphanage name as the lads we are baiting now and sending me the same documents. Maybe somebody in Accra is selling a “finished package” to lads? Anyway I’ll put them through the same scheme as the lads in this thread has gone through and soon there will be lads on safari all over the place!

To make a long story short. Since the trip to Bouake was, well... not so prosperous, the money was shipped as a parcel instead to the lads. Sadly though the shipping company had some issues in customs at Accra airport so the money was sent to Togo instead.

What the lad doesn’t know is that the currier has huge gambling debts after a long and not so successful night at a random race track…

Update-after massive whining bout expenses and some truly funny excuses about why he's using an agent in Accra when he's actually supposed to be running an orphanage in a village hours to the north, our lad was firmly fixated on the money. Naturally. The package, all 50,000 EU plus some of the expenses was entrusted to Courier service . As Choppa mentioned, delivery was supposed to occur in Accra to the "agent" who is actually the lad.

However, a problem-the delivery is diverted and the lad is convinced the cash is only a few hours away!
