So a quick search on another CC lad (Mr.Gr1ff1n who wanted to call me and provide his CC's directly on the phone) lead me to a couple of small business forums/threads where people were having these same scammer problems (searching on the address below points to at least one of them). I've sent contact emails to several of the recent addresses posted in those threads to try and round up business.

I'm already collecting costs from the shipper for this lad. Please have at his black pork:

The more the merrier - pick a suitable product (lads don't care what they are buying) and wait for the cards to come flooding in.

Each reported card will have cost the lad money to buy, so you're hitting him where it hurts.

If you go premium, Wink

you get nice reporting tool - if not, just post redacted details in the thread (keep the last 4 digits showing so people know what cards have been rejected and then report your post and in the report just paste the full card details and a Mod will pick them up and arrange for them to be reported as compromised.

Take a look at one of the other CC lad threads and you'll soon get the idea.

I have run through the invoice with him. He wants me to call him for his credit card numbers. Is there a way to get him off that or should I just have him call?

Normally I enjoy lad calls but I'm rather busy today and would prefer the CC info in writing. Plus I only have a US number.

Tell him phones are for customer service related issues, not orders-which must be in writing for tax and accounting purposes.

Mr.Bishop has been stalling me this morning. He did send an email asking if I got the CC numbers he sent over (knowing full well he hadn't sent any over). I'm now waiting for him to "get back to me".

You could tell him that you cannot accept credit card via phone since that's how people steal cards. Email only that way you can prove to the credit card company that he did indeed place those charges.

I like to have them call me. I ask them to repeat the card several times, have them hold, ask them to answer a few questions since they are doing this via phone there is an additional security process.

what is your mother's maiden name
the name of your first pet
the name of your first grade teacher
your first sexual partner
name the planets in alphabetical order
the name of the street you grew up on

They usually don't have a problem emailing after they call me

If they insist on a call, perhaps a lengthy form allowing them to give you details via call needs to be filled out by him?
