I have been talking with a lad called Emmanuel Eze for the past few weeks. He is clearly new to scamming and is a trophy machine. I received a set of robes from him so altogether he is down about $50. The bait is likely over now so unless he has a change of heart this is it.

I have received your initiation form and I can confirm it is in order. The next step of your initiation into our church is to prepare for your rebirth as one truly with Christ in step 3. You need to complete three tasks to prepare for your rebirth as one of us. The first one is to create a set of robes of salvation for yourself. The robes of salvation are white robes based on the ones worn by our savior Jesus Christ when he was born again after being crucified. They symbolize your rebirth into the church of the signs of Christ. You need to recreate these robes yourself with white cloth and send us a photograph of you wearing them. Then we shall tell you the next task. I have attached an image to give you an idea of what the robes normally look like. i await your prompt response my friend.

What are you talking about regarding the phone number?. That was the number that Father Dawkins got up for me so unless he made a mistake when getting it up that is the number. I have attached photos of the church, My robe of salvation from 1976 and a couple of personal photos. Also what would we have to gain from lying to you?. If I was fake and wanted to exploit you do you think I would ask for money or something else valuable from you?. I have nothing to gain from lying to you so why would I do so?. I hope these images help prove we are real and I will inform you when Dawkins has fixed his phone. 1. He agreed to it beforehand its not like I went up to him and said "Hey mate I have a scammer sending robes to your PO box (Similar to one of the dropboxes not a house address) hope you don't mind". Also I gave the lad a fake name and a real PO box number so he does not know who it belongs to. I spent a while online trying to track down my friends real name with only the PO box details and I did not get anything so it seems pretty safe.
2. Lots of baiters have had lads ship stuff to them such as carvings in art baits and fake checks. There is always a risk of the payment being made with stolen details.
3. The lad has no reason to send illegal stuff. He is currently completely hooked and thinks we are real. Why would he say send illegal drugs to a church who he thinks is about to get a big donation from. |

4. You must continue walking into the water making sure your holy bible does not get submerged until your head is underwater. Following that you must stay under the baptismal water for a period of 20 seconds reflecting on the generosity of Christ and our lord.

I very much doubt you are unable to do this my friend. I do not believe you have to spend much money on this. You already have your robes of salvation. If your camera is unable to record video surely a friend or fellow trader would be willing to lend you one for a few hours. You mentioned on your induction form that you own a bible at home. Lagos has a lagoon to the north and a sea to the west so I very much doubt you are unable easily travel to a body of water to carry out the baptismal ceremony of rebirth. You already have everything you need. I believe this will not cost you much.

As I said this will not cost you much as you already have everything you need. If you say had to buy everything new and had to travel a large distance I could understand. While I certainly believe you are poor by western standards I do not think you are as flat out broke as you say you are. I saw your smartphone plugged into your Laptop which appears from the small part of it in the image to be a relatively new model in the background of one of the images of your robes of salvation. Your smartphone should contain a video camera which a friend can used to record the ceremony. I did mission work in West Africa in 2011 and over there they see possession of a laptop or smartphone as a status symbol. If you do not believe you can continue I wish you the best of luck and you are more than welcome to continue where you left off if you find yourself in a better financial state.

I do not quite understand what you mean regarding the tasks being difficult. I do not understand how difficult it could be to borrow a video camera for a few hours and travel to a body of water in a coastal city. I can assure you the final task is a lot easier. Sorry but scripture and the deacons who approve our donations are very firm on this matter. However I would be willing to bend the rules a bit and give you a token sum of of my personal money of say £5000 after you complete the baptismal ceremony of rebirth. That should be more than enough to complete the remaining step and the additional one if you desire to become a minister. As I have said you already have your robe and a copy of the bible and surely somebody will be generous enough to lend you a camera for a few hours to record the baptismal ceremony of rebirth. So just complete the baptismal ceremony of rebirth and you will receive that token sum as a gesture of kindness from me and be reborn with a clean slate. That alone should be enough to leave you well off by Nigerian standards. If not tell me and I will return the robes on arrival.

The donation committee has taken your relative poverty into account so they have decided to approve an early grant of 7500 pounds as they believe you may not be able to complete the final step without it. However due to your recent Emails and our general policy regarding donations to individuals they need to verify you are truly committed to the church. You need to complete the Baptismal ceremony of rebirth before you receive any money. Did you know that over 50 people try to scam us every year and none of them carry out that step?. That will be the ultimate proof to us that you are genuine and that we can entrust you with money. I believe that you will be able to borrow a camera from somebody to record the ceremony as Rev Jackson suggested before his accident. So to cut a long story short you need to carry out the ceremony before you receive any donation money. It was a nice gesture from Rev Jackson to prepare a sum of his money for you but in mine and the donation committees opinion we need absolute proof you are genuine first.
