Hi all,

I got some direct bank details from one of my scammers.
I've been told to report this, so it can be closed. But where and how can I do this? And if its successful, I can add one of those piggies? Smile

Lower right corner of every message has the report button. Just put the account info, lad's email address and the type of the scam to the message box.

You can edit your sigline at your "profile". You find the piggy in Emoticons, just press "view more Emoticons". Or just type

and when can you add this. Do you get a message when the bank account was succesfully blocked?

No. Only way you may find out about the closed account is from the panicking lad. It happens sometimes. But the usual way of doing it is to stall for the time with the payment for a few days. Lose the payment slip somehow. Mess up with sending it. And finaly tell them that bank (preferrably the lad's bank) has blocked the transfer and returned the money. Then you ask if the lad wants you to use a different account.

Basicaly you just improvise and lie like hell. I think i will tell two of my regulars that i got arrested for trying to send them money. That should explain a few days absense. And they are going to twig on me anyway this time.

^^^The piggy is for reporting the account, so as soon as it is reported add the Closed lad accounts

So acctually you never know for sure if the account as closed? Unless he tells you his account is blocked?

If it is Barclays bank then it apparently closes very fast. But you still won't know it for sure. We are still quite small part of this process.

But don't worry. We don't realy need to know this.

Also if it's a USA piggy, send the details to one of the Moderators. They will do a warning letter or other action to try and warn them they are being used in a scam.

Congrats, Joedumass! Put a piggy in your siggy! All account details should be PM'ed to the mods regardless of location, unless you have gone gold.

I second the lie like hell. Your lad may demand a "transfer slip" or reciept-ask him "what is that" Your bank is paperless! That should be good for a day or two. then after about 4 days, you can tell him the transfer was returned. More delay.

It is funny when you get an email from your panicky lad, apologizing for their banking problems and say "stop the transfer". then, they'll usually ante up some more bacon.
