Hi everyone- thought I'd say hello! Despairing at the volume of inheritances, orphans and lotteries I was catching in my spam box I chanced upon this site and it was love at first sight! Having now the lost the last 2 weeks of my life to reading ALL of eaters greatest hits (god you people are masters) I thought I could make a good apprentice.....8 emails in on my first bait and it feels good  |

Thank you for your warmth and kind welcome. I'm in Wales if you ever have need to weave that into a twisted plot, safari or some welsh language intrigue. I do have a small etiquette query - I think of 'them' as 'lads' but my 'lad' is I think pretending to be a lady - what do we call them? |

Welcome aboard, Auntie. "Lad(s)" is pretty much an all-purpose term. While there are some female scammers (primarily romance scammers), the vast majority are men, toiling away in a hot, stuffy internet cafe somewhere in West Africa. It kind of freaked me out when I was told my "girlfriend" was a guy!  You get over it after a while though. |
