Why are an abnormal number of my emails
emanating from Mountain View California?
Is anyone else finding this?

Lads have twigged that as international businessmen Nigeria or Ghana IP's (to those who actually check them) do not always generate high levels of trust.
Gmail gives you Mountain View (which sounds very nice) wherever in the world you happen to be.
There is an upside, as a baiter, you can pretend to be anywhere in the world too. I've had a few lads come and visit me in a remote corner of Ghana where my renegade priest character had a huge sum of cash (stolen from the church) waiting. If they checked my IP they just got Mountain View, so who's to say where I was really? |
