HERE'S a fledgling modality website I designed quite a while ago. I had so many ideas swimming about my head back then but RL caught up with me but now I'm back and want to get into the thick of it.

If anyone can be arsed please have a look about the site and give me an opinion as to potential modality equipmentalisation :=]

It's not the finished article of course but I hope it might raise a few smiles to brighten up someones day if only a little.

That cracked me up! I agree that maybe the font could be a touch bigger. And maybe a page where your 'research assistants' could upload the pictures they'll be gathering if that'll be a part of it.

How about not having the video automatically play when a person opens the webpage? It's just personal preference. Normally if I go to a website and music or video is automatically on, I shut down the page. I don't like to wake up my fiancé when I am browsing the internet at 2am with an unexpected music/video coming on! I don't like to be startled when I am visiting a link and sound/music suddenly blasts. My heart races like a hummingbird when that happens! Laughing

I know YouTube does it, but I expect it. Not when going to a new site.

Other than that, so far, so good. Looks very well put together. Professional looking. Wouldn't think it was a fake work site at all. Razz

Very nice website. I like the hundreds of Wikipedia links. I did notice that the site opens with "TW!TS R US" on the tab using Firefox. You might want to change that to something more toxic, in recognition of the great work being done at Dunny-on-the-Wold.

Regarding load time, an easy way to increase the payload of the site is to use HUGE jpgs for the images, but resized in the page's code.

But I dare say you know that anyhow. Smile
