Rather than create a forum thread asking for a PM, it would make much more sense to just send a PM to a mod. If the mod you contact can't solve your issue, he/she will pass it on to one who can.

In this instance, the best person for you to PM is Ghost.

I recently asked for and was given a mentor. The PM telling me who the mentor is came from "Ghost," Hope that helps.
