Same Lad for Over Two Years

I have a current bait going, and I am to contact the lawyer. The link was in the email. I clicked it so Gmail would open a new window for me to type the email in, and the name shortcut showed up as a previous scammer. I was like "WTF"?

So I searched all my emails in that account and when one bait ends, a week or two later, the same lad uses a different format and a different character. I never noticed it before, as some of them are "via" that address.

Thankfully when the various baits ended, it was always over the money transfer failing or something. Thankfully my character never died or something.

I'm surprised I never noticed before because I always just hit reply and didn't pay attention to the actual addy.

Just goes to show that lads are persistent little bastards!

Anyone else have similar experiences? I know a lot of folks will keep trying, but for two and a half years and still not getting money?

I wonder if I qualify for a sandtimer? The longest stretch of inactivity was two weeks between the different baits.

I still can't believe the lad has been so persistent. And thankfully in all those baits, my character always acted the same and never varied.

Yup, if it's the same lad you have earned a sandtimer even if character names have changed. It's still one baiter versus one lad.

I've occasionally had lads come back to a character from a different direction, repeatedly. I've also had one bait that just keeps on dying and then coming back to life. I'm not entirely sure if it's the same lad(s) or if they've been selling my information, but in every instance the lad who approaches me is already aware of my backstory. It's great since I don't have to go through all the usual early stages, we just jump right to the chase.

I've had lads come backor sell my info, but never the same lad with the same email address being so persistent.

I'm surprised I never paid attention to the email address. I normally don't check them as GMail puts the person's name in front of it.

I missed another sandtimer by one month several months ago Sad

Oh, I didn't know that. I've been assuming I need to get John Well to February for my sandtimer, when he actually tried to scam me before that with a character named Dr James White starting in December 2012, then passed me to the John Well character in February 2013.

I'm pretty sure they are the same lad because they have the same phone numbers, they used the same format of a diplomat giving me a UN fund, they use the same WU receivers, and one passed me to the other. That suggests they are either the same lad, or at the very least working together in the same gang. Too bad Dr James White was on a gmail box, otherwise I could confirm it by matching IPs.

I'm still going to wait until I drag John to February 5 before I claim my sandtimer, but I think I might already have it. Very Happy

The way i see it there is no way telling how many lads is working on you at any given time so phone number connecting two emails is enough. Not sure about that WU receiver as it might be just some guy who makes his living in handling WU payments but that is still pretty strong evidence.

I've had the same scammer - the unbelievable L0pez Ali - try to scam me three times, each to a different baiter persona (Mal, Cammy and Roscoe).

When Ninastian ran the Dick H3ad bait a while back, the Lad tried to run different scams on me at the same time.

I had a co-bait with makealadmad. I still get spam from that lad at least every month but I am not actively baiting him. He was the EFCC lad that I kept posting in Surplus a while back. He varies the agency but really all the same format.
