im doing what you have said... but in g mail they come up as messenger contacts do i initiate any contact that way? and i still havent had any replies even though ive done maybe 7 or 8?? ta |

It might take some time before you get any replies.
I also sometimes use another trick by putting their E-mail addy into both the "TO" field and the "CC" field. I think that sends it into their Inbox rather than their spam box.
I don't initiate contact by IM. |

Ive now had to lottery scam replies..... and ive just replied so far saying how excited i am etc... but they mainly give foreign phone numbers, do i just keep the emails going? |

You can do if you want, but why put in extra effort when you can say things like:
I can't view that attachment because it sets off my antivirus software
what attachment? I can't see any attachment - can you send it again or type it out in an email?
I don't have the right software to view the attachment
Whats an attachment?
And so on. Anything you feel is in with your character, and steers the bait to your direction.
At this stage don't be too difficult, but don't lie down totally either. Start with small obstacles, let him think you've overcome them together and you'll build trust for the really big ones that you'll throw in his way. |
