No good freight baits lately. This is as those baits are not condoned by Eater anymore. But there are many other things you can do with your lads if you want to.
If you are a UK citizen you can watch the documentary on Channel 4's "4 on demand" service. |

I'm sure a mod will be along later with the official line, but a few thoughts.
1. You would need somewhere safe for the item to be picked up from - even serviced offices these days ask for ID.
2. The courier would be paid for using a stolen credit card or a hacked account - that would be noticed and when it is, it would be the easy to aprehend person in the US that the authorities go after, rather than someone probably using a fake name in Africa.
3. Once they receive the crap you send them, you've burned them, which will make them more aware in future.

I'm not sure how long ago you last visited here, but I've been here over 5 years and freight baits have been off-limits the entire time. They are a clear violation of the ITP rule.
As B8er already stated, scammers do not pay freight bills of hundreds to thousands of dollars out of their own pockets. Instead they buy stolen credit card and/or shipping account info. Whether it's a credit card or a shipping account, the real account owner is an innocent third party with a very real potential to be harmed by the bait. If it is established that the account owner is not responsible, then the shipping company, ends up paying the shipping costs. The shipping company is also an ITP. So are the thousands of consumers that end up paying more for their own shipping, simply to make up for the losses the shipping company faces each year. |

There was a couple of famous freight bait on another site. And according to the baiter the lads had to pay the shipping company in cash, so there was no issue with stolen creditcards at all. |

Shipping companies do not accept COD shipments with cash payment. It's just that simple. (I have a lot of experience working with a lot of different shippers in my career. I know how they operate.)
Freight baits are not condoned here. |
