Hello!

I, like probably many other people, saw a documentary on this a few days ago. Aside from it being for a worthy cause, it looks like something I'd have an awful lot of fun with.

I've set up a hotmail email address, now all I need (I'm guessing) is for the scammers to pick my email address up and start emailing.

Any idea how I start this process?

Any other questions that aren't covered then just ask and someone will help you.

As to getting scammers, look in the lad shuttle thread at the top of this board and it will tell you how to get added to a source of scammers. While you re waiting also take a look in the Surplus board and take your pick of the scam emails posted there to reply to (the scammer won't have a clue he didn't email you before).

I've tried signing up to the mentor programme but having no luck, seems it might be a bit oversubscribed?

Try again for a Mentor. The system requires a certain amount of post. I think you have reached it now.

Meanwhile, feel free to ask questions while a mentor is being assigned.

Signed up to the mentor thing and have "Duckling" as a mentor. Have, quite literally, no idea what this means or what it entails but looking forward to it anyway.

Have sent a couple of emails out and, fingers crossed, I'll be up to my eyeballs in an old widow's money, a distant relative's inheritance or a load of gold bars by this time next week.

You'll be fine. Really all we do is waste scammer resources - time, money, patience, sanity, connections, websites, lines of credit, compromised bank accounts and credit cards. Scamming should be as unprofitable and as unenjoyable as it possibly can be, and if you can make it this way for a scammer while never getting blamed for it then you can call yourself a master of the art. Duckling can help you with this, as I recall his lads suffer terribly. Thumbs up

I have a quick question actually, what do the little graphics in everyone's signatures mean? I'm assuming they're badges of honour for getting lads to do certain things, but I can't work out what exactly?

Ha, look at me, "lads". Picking up the lingo already.

Yes there are a number of scammers who will live the rest of their lives with things such as "4:19 Eater", "I Give BJs" and similar adorning their bodies.

I think the turd is our most tattos'd lad with at least 5 different tattoos (some of which would cause hm extreme difficulty if he visited certain countries).

If the lad thinks he can get enough money for it they will do anything. Trouble is in convincing him that he is getting the money. Also note that lads are also lazy and if they think that they are getting some money from some other victim then they don't neccessarily pay attention to offers of money if it involves actual labour he must do himself. If he can get cheap labour to do the job for him then he may spend some of his money if he has but lads are very stingy in general. But wasting the lads money is one of our goals so go for it.

Mind you, all those throphies are something you must earn. Piggies are propably the easiest to get but it still takes some work and patience.

But basicaly lad is after your money and all things that come with it. This is a fact and you should use this fact ruthlessly. If you must pretend to be a religious leader of some sect who is looking for faitfull followers to take the true faith to the African masses then so be it. Person who undertakes sutch a demanding task would also need to take care of the funds that some with the task but also he would need to prove his faith by doing the right rituals...
