I've noticed in the past weeks a growing number of scams with a header containing lots of numbers in parentheses, like "(74706001)(46102001)(56776001)(50466002)(76176001)(54316002)". When I run whois on the IP address, it comes up Gurgaon, an area northwest of Nepal which you may know as the site of man-eating leopards ninety years ago. I have four this week out of seven. Have you seen them? |

^^^^Emails, of course. The leopards were killed decades ago. One of the emails came from some other part of India, but still had lots of numbers in parentheses in the headers. |

I looked up Gurgaon and found it outside of Delhi in the capital region. I did get a spate of emails from lads running the FedEx format from India in the past week. They claimed to be in Nigeria but the IP addresses resolved to New Delhi. My guess is that some Nigerian lads have set up shop around Delhi. |
