This isn't new information. Of course scammers sell mailing lists to each other.

I am pretty sure Hitman Jack either sold his mailing list or decided to give a new modality a try. Every email address that came into contact with him, including an email address that came into contact with no one else, has heard from Alex White. He has come across some metal trunk boxes containing millions and kindly wants to share.

So is it the same scammer or a different one?

Is there anything connecting them? Writing style, phone number, country, IP...?
I know all those can be unreliable at best (country especially, but it's a starting point), but they will probably already get you somewhere in figuring if it's the same lad or not.

Edit: one semi-reliable way I can think of would be comparing voices if he has called you in the past.

They do sell both formats and lists of mugus to each other, so it wouldn't be too odd.

Checking IP, voice, phone number... would give a clear answer, as Duckling has stated.

Lists are sold, bartered, given away and stolen.

I once had a lad (thought I was another for some reason) tell me how to use his bulk mailer which was hosted on a cracked wordpress blog server in Malaysia. I impressively managed to download the php source for the mailer - pretty much all you'd imagine, a front end and a load of calls to the phpmailer objects, but also a single line of unusual looking code.

The line started with an eval(), so it was interpreted, obfuscated code. I debugged it, it was actually sending back copies of the full mailing lists used in the spam run to another account. The lad had been given the script by a 'friend' who used it to steal the lad's spam/victim list.

No honour.

Hitlad jack traded (or sold) his email list for love scam formats. He also needs money for a new phone number.

Why did he need love scam formats? I provided him with a very willing potential boy friend, but Jack completely rejected him.

He's being baited in the love scam section (hitlad jack wants romance). Such a funny lad. It's a shame since I had such a funny hitlad format for him (sadly he didn't even try).
