One of my lads has accused me of being an EFCC official.
Background info.
He was running a compensation scam and my main character requested that we use her lawyer (my other baiting acc, Starann Gomer) who contacted the lad acting as a lad. After a while, the primary character paid out $3k to the lawer / gomer / pretend lad. I was after a bit of a safari by offering to meet the lad some where to give him his 50%. . .
The result
. . . the lad became all paranoid believing I was a EFCC official onto him, and that I had all of his information. I don't know what caused him to have this realisation - but has sent me death threats and curses.
Now, I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. . . would an increased perceived threat of EFCC officials acting as lads be benificial to causing confusion and mistrust amongst the ranks. Or would it cause the lads to become less willing to share info with people they have not physically met?
I am at a dilemma - do I play the EFCC official and try to convince him that I am slightly bent - or try to convince him I am just an ordinary lad who chopped his dolla. . .
Either way, Mr.Gomer has stollen his hard earned $3K! |

You might up the ante and bring in your EFCC employee's corrupt boss (who has access to everyone's email of course). Bigger money, multiple scam victims, you could take it a lot of places.
Heck, you could even "hire" him to assist in screwing people out of their $$ and have a whole lot of trouble sending his retainer to the bank. You'd never use WU because it could be traced back to him.

How about if you tell them that you are from CIA or Mossad and make an extra efford to make sure that lad understands that they still exist too.  |
