Just for the heck of it, I decided to try the interview modality again. I know it has been done plenty of times in the past and once by yours truly too, but that latter time was years ago so I thought why not.
To those not familiar with this, I'm posing as a journalist willing to interview a lad about their scamming activities. I made a few requests yesterday night, and this morning found at least one potentially interested lad, so it seems the game may be on.
Therefore I'm starting this thread to collect questions for the interviews. Please post and tell what would you like to ask a lad about scamming or himself. I still have my old questions (which in turn were back in the day collected partially from this forum too), but it never hurts to update them and come up with completely new ones too. |

Thanks! I really enjoy the interview modality. Here are a few questions that I'd be interested in seeing answers to (even if they are laddish lies). If you find any lads who have been at it for a while, I would be especially interested in seeing their perspective on change:
How has the game changed since you started?
Are there any formats that don't work any more?
Where do you think the world of scamming is heading?
Do you primarily use email and phone or do you use other methods as well (indirectly asking about social media use).
Do you work solo or in a group, if in a group how did this come about and what is your role in the group?
How do you tell if someone who responds is worth your time?
Who is your ideal victim and why?
What was your biggest scamming success and your biggest scamming failure? (i expect bragging answers to the first as usual, but really I'm curious if you can get them to reveal disappointment).
And of course it would be nice to have an update on how much it costs lads to go about their daily business: how much do you pay for internet service (and do you use a cafe, mobile internet or home/business connection), how much do international phone calls cost you? |

Quesitons:
If someone insists a document is FAXed, can you get easy access to a FAX machines, or do you just drop the scam?
Do scammers ever steal other scammers victims? Is is a significant risk, or is it rare?
If you could not make a living from scamming, what other job opportunities do you have?
What do you find most annoying thing that potential victims do?
Who taught you how to scam? Is is something that they teach at schools?
If you ever managed to pull off a really big scam, of say $1,000,000 or more do you thnk you would stop there, or would you continue?
Do you find any particular nationalities easy to trick? If so what ones?
Are men easier to trick than womem, or are they both about the same?
If you have children, will you teach them to scam, or will you encourage them to be honest?

Sorry, wasname, I sent the first batch of questions today, so we're going by that for now. I'll see if I can incorporate your questions into the follow ups, provided that the lad answers the initial ones in the first place. And of course if I'll find another candidate a little later. So far one out of ten has taken the bait, and I don't want to mass mail this any more than that for now. |

My Questions
Do you like short scams that bring in just a little money, or a long scams that could bring in a large amount?
Do you do anything with victims information once you stop talking to them?
What victims make you the happiest (besides getting money).
What level of education do you have?
Many scammers say they are religious. Do you consider yourself religious, and if so, what religion. How dedicated to your religion are you.
If a victim harrasses you, what do you do?
How often do you go to Western Union/Money Gram? |

Have you ever developed feelings for your vic, or know of someone that has?
I've been wondering this for a while. I mean, there's so much scamming going on all the time, you'd think it'd have to have happened at some point, at least once. |

I have a lad that I have been in contact with over 2 years.. first started as a bait/church/photo.. then he ran the gmail IP and thought it was from Ghana and thought I was a "lad" too.. so I played with that and I run a secret cafe.
I could run all these to him to make him join again.. but he wants me to send a guy in ghana to talk with him.
Anyone got a lad in Accra that will go meet another Lad (but say hes with my Cafe)? But I would hate to have one lad make new connections though.. but my lad is not that smart.... |

Why not invite the lad for a TV interview? Book him a "economy plus" class ticket to the TV station.
I look forward to see some replies to the questions you asked him.

I did take some of these questions and sent them to my lad as well..
I did change them from a reporter to a job interview type questions.
then next is the in person interview. |
